I thought Little was genuinely good and still don't really understand why he didn't succeed here. Maybe we'll find out later, or maybe he'll surprise us on the Heat. I heard folks saying he maybe didn't understand the plays or the defense or whatever, but I don't know if there was anything to that or if it was just pure speculation.
Couldn’t stay healthy and couldn’t hit 3s…he’s got some size and finishing ability, but he’s a role player and it’s very hard in todays game to be a good role player that doesn’t shoot. If he does figure out some shooting, he could be a very good role player.
Or maybe it’s just the crazy depth we have at wing. If he wasn’t going to get to play and nobody was willing to trade for him, it’s not surprising that we’d let him go. I think I’d rather have ditched Lee, but it doesn’t make much difference, and I guess waiving Little made more sense financially. Either one of them is going to be behind Book-Beal-Allen-O’Neale-Okogie on the pecking list. Probably Dunn too.
