This 9-2 run by LA is disappointing. Turn it up, Suns.

He definitely isn’t ready to be a defensive anchor, but he’s also playing this role because Nurk is out.

Last year our first preseason game we looked like the best team ever assembled, so I won’t read much into this one haha

One big man being out isn’t going to be an unusual situation.

You can’t go into the season with just two centers, one PF, Bol and Oso.

First interesting thing for me

Tyus goes out at the 5min mark and then we go to Grayson which is the Beal/Book at pg lineup from last season

Monte comes in next timeout
Don't think they will be an all bench unit in actual season but to be continued

Guys will just have to step up…wasn’t really different last year. Oso will need to learn, but the lack of size is definitely a concern.

Wasn’t really different when we had a miserable 49-win season and got swept in the first round? Gee, that’s comforting.

I finally got the game up on my screen. Lakers go on a run and end the 1st quarter up 9.

Has Jones done anything yet? Disappointed to see 0 assists.

Signed Tyus, Monte and Plum, re-signed Allen and Bol, drafted Dunn and Oso.

Tyus to Dunn for 3! Nice play. Love to see it. Suns within 2 and Lakers call timeout.

Our 3rd string C wasn’t the reason for that though.

Best thing about Dunn's 3 was the release was quick

Then going down the other end and play solid 1v1 against Bron allowing Royce to come weakside for block

Only because Nurk and Ewwbanks each played almost the whole season. I wouldn’t count on that happening again, it was dumb luck.

Something I feel like we rarely saw last year…a play with each of our big 3 involved. Book sets a screen for KD, slips it and gets the pass from KD, defense collapses and he hits Beal for 3 in the corner.

Fair…we’ll see what happens. The Eubanks to Plumlee upgrade will be nice though.
