NBA GM Survey is out....GMs think we'll finish 4th Book listed as #2 SG behind AntEdwards, KD is the 2nd best SF but #1 PF and PF. Bud got some votes for Best Coach and was #1 for Biggest Impact on new team, Tyus tied for 3rd in Most Underrated Acquisition.

Durant is 2nd best PF by a country mile behind Giannis.

Whoops, thought I saw KD listed as #1 on one of those. Must've just blocked out Giannis' name there.

Yeah, I try to block him out too but I keep getting called for defensive fouls! I swear I was stationary!

The fact that so many players are getting votes in multiple categories just shows how the concept of positions isn't as set in stone as it was in the 80's-2000's.

It also kind of makes the exercise of picking a specific position dumb if guys can be considered under different positions…for instance, SGA would be the #1 SG if you counted his PG votes…and SGA is definitely better than Ant.

I would say Grayson too but his new diet is eating chimichangas from a trash bag he carries around. Not a good look.

How do you get votes from 99.1% of 30 GMs?

This is cool and Riles is deserving of it for how he's shaped the Heat over the last 30 years.

Except he won’t ever be on the floor in that situation. 😂

The Houston Rockets Are the NBA’s Most Fascinating Trade Team
Will the abundance of impressive prospects in Houston become the foundation of the next great Rockets team? Or will they form the currency for a franchise-altering trade? Either way, the Rockets are hurtling toward some intriguing, high-stakes choices.

I like their collection of young talent and think that they should just keep them and let them grow together.

I've been reading up a bit more about them and following some of the bigger fan accounts because I keep expecting them to make the leap. I keep hearing about Sengun, Jalen Green, Amen Thompson, Jabari Brown and Tari Eason and they added VanVleet and Brooks to the team last year and now they have Reed Sheppard. So yea...will Ime be able to put all that talent together and make it work or are they just a collection of nice players on a roster that don't really amount to much as a team? Who are the building blocks and go-to guys? Who's expendable in a trade? Who's available in a trade that would put everything together?

I have a feeling that Reed Sheppard and the maturing of the rest of the roster solidifies them. I've heard people say that Sheppard is the closest thing to Steph Curry as we've seen coming into the league since Steph. Idk if I am going to give him that much praise, but most GMs think he wins ROY, and when I've seen him, he's been very impressive.

100%... Just don't like the part of the article where they talk about us sending Book out.

Honestly, I skimmed the article and missed that. I went back and saw that. Yeah, that's just dreaming by them. It would take a complete meltdown of the season and everything to go wrong, including Book having a public fight with Ishbia. I just don't see it happening. It would be an awful scenario, when Booker is probably the best player in franchise history or is damn near there, imo.
