DeSantis is refusing to take calls from the White House for help with the hurricane. Presumably later he will claim that the WH didn't even call him.

Two major hurricanes hitting Florida in as many weeks. A buddy of mine said he just applied for a mortgage. Their first question was do you live in Florida?
I don’t recall ever seeing a storm develop and turn into a hurricane from the Gulf of Mexico. I thought they always formed in the warm waters off the west side of Africa and slowly made their way NW. The severity and frequency of these things has increased and not too many people argue about that, especially if you are trying to buy flood insurance in Florida.
Some people are saying it’s a result of man burning fossil fuels. Some say it’s just naturally occurring global warming and would be happening whether we were here or not. Some are saying it’s nothing and just the current phase of Mother Nature and it’s nothing to worry about. Some are saying it’s a conspiracy and that the hurricanes are man made by Jews or evil deep state Dems.

At some point natural selection has to kick in here and cause people this dumb to eliminate themselves from the gene pool, right? If they actively ignore hurricane warnings and won't evacuate, I don't really know what to say.
