I for one don’t see anything there that warrants or justifies violence.

That was a really crappy thing to say. I don’t know what else happened with their confrontation, but I’m not gonna feel bad for the reporter there. He sucks…but also Embiid probably didn’t need to make it physical.

Marcus Hayes is an awful reporter, all he does is shit on Philly sports, like a weird scorned lover. Violence is never the answer, but sometimes it is.

So we're justifying physical violence for something somebody wrote?

No it's not. Not in this case.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Anyone who thinks it's justified to shove someone.

Hard disagree with the article and the argument it makes. But nobody deserves to be attacked for writing some dumb sports opinion column.

I agree and I’m not saying I’m ok with what Embiid did, but it’s also important to note that Embiid didn’t just shove him because of the article…they had an argument and after arguing for a bit, Embiid shoved the reporter. As far as I know, we don’t know what the argument consisted of. Still doesn’t mean it was ok for Embiid to shove him…just saying there is still stuff we don’t really know. Seems like both were in the wrong.

I'm sure Daryl Morey had a serious conversation with Embiid. That shit cannot happen.

I hope Morey also had a convo with the press coordinator. Don't let hacks into the locker room.
