Kieff needs to rebound the ball. Four rebounds from our starting power forward is bad.

I don't think Green is that bad, its just who do you want taking those shots? Green or Archie. I remember thinking the same thing when EJ was coming to the end of his career. He was known as a shooter, but Jeff Hornacek was coming on and was money as a shooter. I knew it would be better for Horny to be taking those shots.EDC wrote:I'm kinda worried we are going to resign Green to a contract like PJ's in the off season. Green is a great guy but man does he hurt the team more than he helps it. I wonder if the rumor that the Clips were willing to give up a draft pick for him at the trade deadline were true.
Archie is very close to surpassing Green in the rotation--not necessarily as a shooter, but rather with his D and ability to get to the line. I would think the simple thing would be to let Green walk this summer.

I completely disagree that he hurts more than he helps. I don't even think it is close.EDC wrote:I'm kinda worried we are going to resign Green to a contract like PJ's in the off season. Maybe I'm a Green apologist, but there is no way that after seeing Archie for a season total of 100 minutes, we know he is ready to take that time. Let's get him in at least half our games for even 5 before we start replacing Green.JCSunsfan wrote:I don't think Green is that bad, its just who do you want taking those shots? Green or Archie. Don't go taking that pessimism to arizonasportsfans.com, you'll be considered a troll. It's funny how different message boards have overall differing opinions about the team.djy2j wrote:Can't wait to use all this cap room on an all star free agent. Also glad we kept the 3rd best PG out of tbe bunch in Bledsoe. Yeesh.

I agree with you and I'm hardly his biggest fan. He drives me bonkers at times, but I'm not sure he's ever lost a game single handedly. He's carried the offense though, multiple times.Indy wrote:I completely disagree that he hurts more than he helps. Then you guys are going to be continuously disappointed. Rebounding is not a big part of Markieff's game. He is a skilled big offensively but he is average defensively and a poor rebounder. He is what he is. Luckily, Len is a good rebounder and will complement 'Kieff.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:Well said.EDC wrote:Mori Chu wrote:* Markieff Morris somewhat quietly had a 31-point night and looked great overallI can't help thinking back about how much crap Amare use to get for not getting 10 rebounds a game.
