How far are you on The Expanse?
I think e5 is still next. Cross got me hooked and I was watching two at a time. The Expanse is a little denser and not easy to watch back to back, I've found so far. I'll watch the next episode tonight though for sure.
I was actually on e6 which I just finished. A LOT going on which is hard to keep up with so far. Probably doesn't help that I watch it late at night as I'm getting sleepy. Had to finish e6 today. Will try to start watching a little earlier in the evening. I just finished going through the Wikipedia episode synopsizes of the first six episodes to help get my mind around all the goings on.

A wild ride! I think we may have to go revisit it after Foundation! I heard you pick up a lot a 2nd time through!

Hope you're enjoying it. We just finished Foundation Season 1. It not only looks amazing, it's an amazing show.

Yes, I'm into it now. Finished season 1 last night. Onto S2! It's cool knowing that I have 5 full seasons to go although I did see that S6 is only 6 episodes. They must have been told to wrap it up.

I'm getting very excited for the upcoming release of Severance Season 2 in a few weeks. I am rewatching Season 1 (a masterpiece) and watching several Youtube recap and theory videos. So much fun. WATCH THIS SHOW if you haven't already. One of the best shows I've seen in years.

I might have to rewatch in preparation. Such a great show! That last episode was intense!

Been watching The Expanse, and I'm at episode 4. It got a bit more interesting and mysterious.

Cool. I'm fully into it now. I've watched two episodes a night for the last two nights. I'm on S2E5 now.

Check out this page for episode synopsizes after you've watched an episode. Especially early on, there is a lot to try to understand what is going on. It gets a lot easier later.

I finally finished Shogun the other day. Wife and I liked it, but didn't think it was a masterpiece or anything. Without spoiling anything, it didn't go the direction I expected or maybe even wanted, and it kind of ended with a whimper. Interesting show, but didn't really live up to my high expectation of "Japanese Game of Thrones." Now I'll likely move on to Silo Season 2.

I'm struggling to get through Silo, S1, and now it's on the back burner while I enjoy The Expanse. I sure hope Silo gets better because it hasn't grabbed me through 4 episodes.

And me thinks your expectation were too high going into Shogun. I didn't have any expectations and it pleasantly surprised.

Going out with a whimper seems very Game of Thrones to me.

Supposedly, it was close to the book. I never read the book, so I'm not sure, but season one didn't end like I was expecting or hoping for.

Shogun was pretty great. I think there were probably two semi thud episodes. It also ended with a whimper, in my opinion.

Season 2 of Silo, after the first episode that drags ass, has been better than season 1. I think the "bad guy" just seems like such an aloof, not scary at all, low emotion kind of loser that it hurts the credibility around the lack of any sort of uprising by the people. Tim Robbins. There are other characters that just do nothing for me.

Cool.

I’m so stoked. Granted I’m bummed they recasted Henry cavill and wish we could have seen what him and Gunn could have done together. This does look a lot more light hearted and Donner’esque.

I was a huge Superman comic fan growing up. This looks to have some good qualities. I hadn't been paying attention to the goings on of the new film. So, this is a continuation of the Cavill series? Superdog is a good touch.

ETA: OK, just read up on it a little bit and came across this and this maybe being the reason Cavill isn't coming back:

"It has also been confirmed that Superman: Legacy will focus on the younger years of the caped hero, which had already passed in Cavill’s iteration."

No it’s not a continuation…. Which is why they recasted. Gunn wanted a new actor to start his DC comics universe.

But yet, not a reboot with origin story and all that, right?
