So I imagine that I'm quite possibly underrating Doc here, but I'm still just gobsmacked (maybe even gobspanked!!) that he's received the kinds of accolades he has - including those to come next year.
Anyway, what your guys's take on Doc? He's got over 1,000 wins, and maybe I'm just letting the 3-1 narrative(s) get to my head, but I've always seen him as a good coach - not a (let alone, historically) great one.
Doc Rivers is a candidate for the Hall of Fame next year and was named one of the 15 best coaches...which both puzzle me
