Merry Christmas! / Xmas Day NBA action

Post by Mori Chu »

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate! And a happy holiday season to all. I am blessed to be around my wonderful wife and children this morning, opening tons of presents for the kids (Santa must have thought they were pretty good). Then we're about to go to my wife's sister's house for Christmas dinner. Tomorrow we fly to Tucson to see my side of the family for a few days. What are all you folks up to today? How you're having a wonderful day.

Also, we can discuss the day's NBA games in here (though the Suns/Nugs one can have its own thread). Who's watching?

Watched part of Spurs/Knicks…Wemby dropped 42, but couldn’t overcome Mikal going for 41

What are the odds Bud grows a brain and starts Dunn?
We clearly need his defense on Porter/ Gordon. Way too undersized with Royce.

Lakers beat Warriors by 2, 115-113, on a nice Austin Reaves drive to the basket with 1 second left.

Suns have great energy so far, up 17-8. Great to see Dunn, Nurk and Tyus each already hit a 3.

The weird obsession with the KD/Nurk 2 man game. Meanwhile Beal just out there floating on the perimeter.

Nurk was having a decent start but commits a TO and is in foul trouble already.

I am actually really happy to see Okogie playing. I want more tough defenders on the floor for us, and I think he was having a strong season before he went down with injury.

Merry Christmas to all and especially all who is sitting here waiting for the Suns to eventually ruin a good day thus far.

I love that Russ is always allowed to assault KD whenever they play.

Suns are actually letting their PGs mostly run the offense tonight; I like it. Monte Morris playing well.

He's too stupid offensively. We have enough stupid players that throw the ball away or get themselves into compromising situations

Playing with urgency suddenly. Need to find a way to bottle this because this is what it should look like in terms of energy

You can almost feel like with the way the second quarter slowly turned momentum, that the third quarter collapse is inevitable.
