Game Day: Suns (19-19) @ Hawks (19-19), Tues 1/14/25

Post by Superbone »

Time: 5:30 pm AZ (4:30 pm PT/7:30 pm ET)
Place: State Farm Arena, Atlanta, GA
TV: AZ Family 3TV/NBALP

The Suns hit the road after a narrow win over the Charlotte Hornets thanks to a rare 5 minute stretch of intense defense and a 15-3 scoring outburst to end the game. The Suns are seeking their first win in Atlanta since March 24, 2014. The Hawks are well-rested as their last game was their loss in Phoenix last Thursday.

Put Trey Young in the Dunngeon. Ryan, don't bite on his pump fakes; stay out of foul trouble.

Nevertheless, Hawks by 20. #reversejinx

I'd be there with you but I had a root canal yesterday and I can only eat on my left side until I get my crown next week. (He is what we thought he was! Crown his ass!)

Thanks! I had a great endodontist. The root canal went as well as I could imagine. No soreness today. Looking forward to getting my crown and eating normally again. I've been dealing with pain in the upper right of my mouth while chewing for at least 5 months. Hoping to fully enjoy eating again!

Feel better soon, Boney. Get high on the good painkillers right before the game starts. It really takes the edge off those KD/Book cross-court pass turnovers.

I’m the most regal person on this forum. I have 24 crowns.

My prosthodontist popped 24 caps in my mouth. That’s why I’m posting my garbage here instead of doing stand up.

Damn. I didn’t realize it’s been 11 years. Well today is a good day to break that losing streak…

It would be a good day to do it but too bad that won’t be the case.

Well, maybe think about actually reading my posts then. Or maybe your math just isn't that good.

Not about the dental crowns. I really do have one on every tooth.

And actually the prosthodontist has popped a lot more than 24 caps in my mouth, because the materials typically used for the purpose could not survive the extreme forces in my mouth, and it took forever to find something that worked.

It’s basically 11 years. Closer to being 11 years than it’s not!

Either way, we both can agree this is a loss. Hawks by 13

My post went way over your head. The issue wasn't how close it was to 11 years. I posted that we hadn't won in Atlanta since 2014. You replied to the later Bloom post that you didn't realize it had been about 11 years. If you had read the original post you would have realized. But maybe you did read my post and were just choosing to reply to the Bloom post. Whatever dude!

The most damning thing about watching this team play is that it feels like they have play perfect offensive possessions to get a good shot while the opponent can just get a good almost at will.
Love, Hurts.
