Oso playing 20+ minutes and getting 3 rebounds is unacceptable

Love Oso but we should still be looking at center upgrades, don’t stop at Nick.
Re: Game Day: Suns (19-20) @ Wizards (6-32), Thurs 1/16/25
We should've kept Nurk engaged as a starter and just cut his minutes back or told him some games he won't play due to matchups. Oso was never a good rebounder and he's an undersized rook. Can only expect so much there.
Re: Game Day: Suns (19-20) @ Wizards (6-32), Thurs 1/16/25
Agreed on Oso. He just gives up too much size and lacks in strength. He needs to bulk up over the summer. I would be completely in favor of a Kessler/Richards or Goga/Richards center rotation or something similar; however, until this team is willing to play with maximum effort on a consistent basis, we will continue to struggle.

I honestly think Nurk is washed, add that to his shitty attitude, very bad.

It happened when he was on the bench in this one…specialsauce wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 7:57 pmIt's Kevin Durant. Too fucking cool for school.he is a parasite.
I’m not actually that worried about this one…ya it’s lame they let up and let Washington back in it..but even the best teams do that. I don’t think that specifically speaks to anything. They thought Washington would pack it up and they didn’t.
We played great for 3 quarters…but it was against the wizards..one of the worst teams in awhile…so I’m not taking anything from that either. Show me something against Detroit or better yet, Cleveland.
Re: Game Day: Suns (19-20) @ Wizards (6-32), Thurs 1/16/25
That's the entire problem with the team. They thought Washington would pack it up. We used to wax teams like this because we played all out no matter who the opponent was. Now we come into every game on cruise control like, "it's all good, we're the Suns and Book and KD are on the team".
Re: Game Day: Suns (19-20) @ Wizards (6-32), Thurs 1/16/25
If he's got a shitty attitude then yea, he's gotta go or just be sent home. But I still think he's an effective rebounder and we could use that size against teams that have a JV or a Kessler. We know he can't hang with AD and I wouldn't expect him to stay with Sarr tonight. But he'd have to be OK with less minutes or some DNPs, which is questionable.Wally_West wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 8:17 pmI honestly think Nurk is washed, add that to his shitty attitude, very bad.

He's a parasite. His "chill" vibes have infected the locker room. I just want a CP3 locker room back.Split T wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 8:18 pmIt happened when he was on the bench in this one…specialsauce wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 7:57 pmIt's Kevin Durant. Too fucking cool for school.he is a parasite.

That was ‘21-‘22. You missed a whole season in there.Wally_West wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 7:50 pmWe just took our foot off the gas. That’s all.
…of course that’s has been a problem all year
…was a problem last year too
… it’s was also a problem at the end of ‘22-‘23 too where we sleep walked to franchise best wins and why we got embarrassed by the mavs. Fuuuuuuck

I mostly agree, but this has been a problem for several years now, it’s annoying. Hopefully Jimmy helps.

I think this is another example of Tyus being expendible. Morris can bring the same thing. I'd look to move Tyus for picks. Maybe to Detroit or Orlando where they could use some veteran stability.

The offense isn't the problem. Stupid, ridiculous turnovers are. Sloppy, lazy passes and passes that should never even be attempted.

It’s definitely not the entire problem…the problem is we’re just not that good to begin with…I feel like maybe 21-22 it wasn’t a problem, but letting teams back in it has basically always been a problem.ShelC wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 8:23 pmThat's the entire problem with the team. Everything starts with mentality and effort. This team has roster/physical shortcomings but that doesn't excuse the lack of focus or not playing hard the entire game. We have more talent than a lot of other teams who just flat out play harder.

There is one constant from then, it rhymes with Kevin Looker.
