I don't think anyone really expected a win. Maybe a few expected a closer loss. But it's not even that we lose, it's how bad we look losing. You're not going to win every game and there are obviously better teams out there. It's just the depressing offense, worse defense, body language, turnovers, lack of awareness, hustle...everything.

There's no shame in losing to the league-leading (and historically great regular season team) Cavs. But if you watched this game you saw an example of the wide gulf between the league's best, and our group of misfit toys. At no point past the 2nd quarter or so did it seem to me like the outcome of this game was in doubt. We are not as good as teams in this tier, and we are not close. Jimmy Butler + this team would not beat these Cavs, nor OKC, nor several of the league's best teams. There has to be an acceptance of this before we can start to move in a better direction.

Right now, it seems like no one likes having Beal out there. KD is a drag but it felt like there was just better flow and energy when Beal was injured. It's like they all know, even Beal, that he's not working there.

I wonder if that's a bit of a shade being thrown at Coach by KD... saying that we don't have a zone package yet, halfway through the the season, isn't a great look for the coach. It's also not a good look for a veteran who is one of the greatest of all time, that you don't know how to attack a zone.
