Keep fighting the good fight, FF. I for one appreciate it. All takes can't be doom and gloom but that seems to be the modus operandi around here.
If Ishbia spending money wheelin' and dealin' is enough for a fan, that's fine. I just don't think it needs to turn into the Gloom Police, although we always reach that point on this site.

I feel like we're all eating at a fancy restaurant and the food doesn't taste good, but there is a group telling us we should just appreciate the ambiance.
I think it’s more like we sent the food back and are waiting to see what the next dish tastes like…ya there’s a chance all the food sucks, but the owner is sparing no cost to try and make the food better.
The same recipe is being used. And we've had more than one course.
We haven't even come close to the main course.
Keep the analogies coming fellas.

Interesting, first I’m hearing about this. No one has been saying this at all.
Yeah, that is crazy, man. Jimmy Butler?! I forgot about him. I thought he was happy in Miami?
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

We'll have to see what the Butler brings out.

Honestly feels like this is all performative, this makes me think a deal is done by tonight or tomorrow.

I don't think so. Just makes sense to hold him out until the trade finalizes.

Maybe but they could as easily just send him home then. No reason to suspend him, especially if they aren’t even gonna enforce it because he’s been traded. Weird stuff regardless.

We can't lose many more winnable games if we want a chance to make the playoffs this year. If we're gonna get Jimmy they better hurry the hell up

It’s gonna be hilarious if we get to the trade and Beal just says nah

I feel like there’s no way he hasn’t given his blessing on possible deals. His agent’s son is in our freaking front office. No way we’d advance this far for him to say no. Question for me is if Miami gets cold feet last second. Definitely sounds like we have a back up plan. Maybe just cut out Miami all together.

Beal and 1st to MIL

Connaughton and Middleton, 1st via PHX TOR

Brown and Portis Oylnk to us.

Maybe the clip gets posted later but Windhorst was on PTI talking about the Suns and Butler (paraphrasing):

Suns are chasing Butler and Butler is interested in the Suns, Suns are working every day to try and make it happen. Said the 1 for 3 draft pick trade was one of the strangest deals he's seen. Compared it to changing a $20 for two $5s and a $10 but they really need a $50. Doesn't think the Suns are anywhere close enough to pulling off a deal. Implication is that the trade made it seem like a Butler deal is close but it's not. Doesn't think the Suns have enough to send Beal with a no trade clause somewhere and also go get Butler.

Won't rule it out but skeptical they can pull it off.
