Around The League Week 18: 2/23-3/1

Post by Sunsfan4life »

I had to make this thread because I wanted to post this....How ridiculous is this

BYour 14-41....how the mighty have fallen.

Did anyone see Wiggins going at it with Harden last night. That guy looks like he is going to turn into a stud in this league, considering is he only what 20 years old. The trade Minnesota made, may end up being one of the best trades in recent memory. They got rid of a stat stuffing loser (Love) for a potential next generation superstar. I would not even want to imagine how dynamic Cleveland would be running Irving, Wiggins, LBJ trio.

Wiggins is devolpeing alot quicker then I thought he would. Always loved his talent and this isn't surprising what he's doing its just how he's doing it so soon.

Wonder if he would be devolping at this rate in Cleveland...

I obviously dont think he would be getting the volume of shots in Cleveland that he gets in Minny, but he strikes me as the type of player who would get his shots just in the flow of the game. Meaning you may not have to run too many plays for him, and he would still find a way to get his shots up.

The interviewer was clearly pissed. Hilarious.

Kobe hated that celebration after that Lakers win. But bad teams need something to be happy about, too. They had a good win and it's fine for them to be happy and celebrate it. Kobe's icy determination isn't any help when the team isn't going to have any chance to contend.

By the way, if the playoffs started today, Cleveland would be the 4-seed out East. They'd play Washington in the first round, then probably Atlanta in the second round, then either Toronto or (more likely) Chicago in the ECF. Say what you want about the East, but that seems like a pretty tough playoff path to me.

And even if they got through all of that, they'd have to face the Warriors or Memphis or whoever comes out of the West in the Finals. Summary: I think the odds of a Cavs title this year are pretty long.

Love Hinkie trolling the Nets and putting in a waiver claim on Thomas Robinson.

People just love messing with Billy King. Presti just used him for leverage for Kantar and Now Hinkie just takes Robinson from him.

Poor Billly....

https://twitter.com/BenGolliver/status/570427896759779328 Just doesn't seem fair. I don't think there's any way he comes back this time. I don't remember such a promising career being shut down so soon before. Maybe Jay Williams and his motorcycle accident? He played after that but was radically different. Brandon Roy was cut down in his prime too. But gosh it seems like we only got 2 good years of MVP Derrick Rose and he was so very good.
Go Suns!
