Absolutely positive that Nurkussy is gone by deadline. Jimmy trade probably holding that up too.

The Butler trade is holding everything up from the looks of it.

Nice to get a win, but we let them back in it with our lethargic D way too much. Richards is a breath of fresh air. Hope Dunn is okay.

Roll Bol Bol? The pole’s goal is to roll to the hole with a ball he stole and dunk on an asshole.

haha got lucky, but I just knew we'd be up big then let them come closer.Superbone wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 9:34 pmOK, I was LMAO at the end due to our guesses and the Suns end game ineptitude. It was also pretty funny watching Richards comically fail at getting that 20th rebound.
Superbone Suns 23
SunsShine Suns 18
SunsRIt 16
Split T Suns 11
Mori Chu Suns 11
Ring_Wanted Suns 10
Congrats to Ring_Wanted who nailed it on the nose. Honorable mention to Split T and Mori Chu. The raspberry goes to TOO.![]()

Wow that thumbnail makes Durant look like 55yo haha.

Haha. It really does. That lighting him did him no favors there whatsoever.

Richards looks more and more comfortable and gives us a big boost in the middle on the boards and finishing in the paint. He's a nice roll threat, which we've needed. It's just really nice to see a legit big being active and fighting for rebounds.
I thought Beal looked really good playing off the ball. His corner 3 was working well and he seemed pretty active overall. There are times he just gives up on defense and doesn't hustle, which is frustrating.
Generally, still no faith in this team. We've padded our record the past few weeks against worse teams and even struggled at times in those games. We get into funks during games where we can't score and we sure as shit don't defend. We were 13-40 from 3 last night, Book was 0-8, Tyus 1-5, Grayson 2-7 and Royce 1-6. If the 3 isn't there, we need find ways to get easier shots and get to the basket. We're too content to take long/tough jumpers for stretches without scoring. We've gotten away with it against bad teams but we've seen what happens against the good ones. It's too bad because if we could lock in, we could climb the standings quickly but we're too inconsistent.

That’s the roster that we have. Book, KD, Beal, Tyus..none of these guys can get to the rim…that’s kinda why we need Jimmy.
Re: Game Day: Wizards (6-37) @ Suns (22-21), Sat 1/25/25
I think some of it is scheme, assertiveness and not being disciplined in the flow of the game. As long as the other team is missing shots, we seem content to do the same.

If it’s scheme it’s because those are the players we have. Bud teams got rim pressure when he had Giannis. I think we’d love to have rim pressure…and ya maybe you can attribute some of it to those things, but I think by far the main reason is personnel…we have a team full of jump shooters. Only recently did we even have a big that could finish at the rim.
