Re: 2025 NBA TRADE DEADLINE
I don’t think so…I can’t say I’m up to date on Agbaji though

Is Kelly Olynyk worth losing a 1st? No, he is not.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 12:36 pmWhere does that get us, though? Is Kelly Olynyk worth losing a 1st for?Wally_West wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 12:03 pmI’d trade Nurk and a 1st for Kelly Olynyk and Ochoa Agbaji.
….but losing a 1st for Kelly Olynyk AND Ochoa Agbaji while getting rid of Nurk’s ass? Yes, I think so.
Agbaji is having nice year. Still on his rookie deal, shooting 40% on 3s. Hes an nba rotation player. Hes a shooting guard tho, but the way this team gets injured, he’ll play a decent amount probably. Reports are he can be had for couple 2nds. Olynyk is a good 3pt shooter and passer, him and Richards would be nice center combo actually.
It would be a solid deal to me, you are getting rid of a waste of space for two decent rotation pieces, you probably can get a pity 2nd from Toronto too. I’d call it right now tbh.

Re: 2025 NBA TRADE DEADLINE
Both would also be expiring contracts next year and both are good enough players that you could easily flip for multiple 2nds next year. The asking price for each is couple 2nds apparently. So Nurk and a pick that will be a late 1st is fair.

Re: 2025 NBA TRADE DEADLINE
No thanks. Honestly I'd rather send Nurkic home if that's all we can get by spending a 1stR. Equivalent talent to Agbaji at a different position (forward, point guard, younger C/PF) I might consider it.Wally_West wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 12:03 pmI’d trade Nurk and a 1st for Kelly Olynyk and Ochoa Agbaji.

Pretty sure the Raps sent a first last year to the Jazz for Olynyk and Agbaji.

Yeah lol.
Their pinned tweet called Soto to the Mets days before it happened but that’s baseball stuff. Hey, It’s Friday, why not?

Re: 2025 NBA TRADE DEADLINE
Apparently Gambo said there was a trade idea with Beal to sac, Fox to spurs, butler to suns, expirings to heat…obviously picks to kings and heat too
Re: 2025 NBA TRADE DEADLINE
So maybe that’s the one they are talking about
Re: 2025 NBA TRADE DEADLINE
Beal would waive his NTC to go to Sacramento?
Re: 2025 NBA TRADE DEADLINE
That would explain why Don Harris referred to the trade as being complicated. Not sure how reliable he is as a source but you know if Gambo reported about it, then there’s certainly some truth behind it.
Re: 2025 NBA TRADE DEADLINE
Ugh. Lakers would be getting Claxton in this potential deal, wouldn’t they?
Re: 2025 NBA TRADE DEADLINE
Probably Paul too if I had to guess. Him and Bron are buddies.
Love, Hurts.
Re: 2025 NBA TRADE DEADLINE
Hopefully, the league steps in and rescinds Paul to the Lakers again lol.

Re: 2025 NBA TRADE DEADLINE
I know this isn’t a popular opinion, but I genuinely think Beal knows this isn’t working and isn’t happy here. He’s a career starter coming off the bench here right now. I think Beal waiving his ntc isn’t as big of an issue as people think is. I think he’s ready to move on from here and as long as it’s not a dumpster fire, he’d go.
Re: 2025 NBA TRADE DEADLINE
Yea I guess as much power as a NTC gives a player, it's kind of useless if both the team and player are unhappy and both want to move on.
