Booker did go to the NBA finals with the Suns.
Davis' Suns never did.
So, there's that, for a start.
A fun team to watch again. A trade or two away from being a serious contender...

In Davis' 11 years with the Suns, four of those teams won 50 or more games. Only once did a team during then finished with the less than 30 wins.

During Booker's nine-plus years, only two of those teams won 50 or more games. Four teams finished with less than 30 wins (including a 19-win season).

Davis had the good fortune to start his Suns career surrounded by good talent (Paul Westphal, Alvan Adams, Don Buse, Truck Robinson, Dennis Johnson, Mo Lucas, to name a few. And he had a coach in John MacLeod who provided stability and an established system.

Booker had to endure numerous coaching changes and a revolving door of mediocre teammates. His first years with the Suns were the worst stretch of seasons in franchise history.

Considering he started his career during the McDoofus years, I'm surprised Booker is even that close to .500

Davis played on some pretty good teams from 1977-83, but not so much from 1983-87. And 1986-87 was (were?) dark days.

I predict that he will fail to reach 22 points tonight *and* we will lose again.

I'll give you credit that you were pretty restrained after the last Blazers win. DA had a good game and they beat us, and you made just one post about it, a one-liner. Didn't rub it in or go on a long rant or anything.

Oh, I think Jeremy has been vindicated to some extent. Not that Ayton hasn't been disappointing but there were a lot of folks saying Nurk would be better in Phoenix.
