Exactly. I am for max high value picks and a young prospect.Wally_West wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 9:39 amYes.specialsauce wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 9:31 amWe better not Amare/Barkley this shit where we let a franchise player go and get back role players with no assets or potential franchise cornerstones.
We need either:
1) max assets to rather draft or flip for a star this offseason
OR
2) a young prospect who is on the path to stardom (Jonathan Kuminga, put your hand down you ain't it)
1-2 first round picks alone ain't cutting it. And a package of Draymond Green and Bobby Portis is Hedo Turkoglu and Hakim Warrick all over again.

It’s being reported Washington may not keep Middleton, so maybe Beal does return to Washington after all.

Gonna end up with Jimmy, Middleton and Brook Lopez in some weird mega trade.SunsSince92 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 10:11 amDo we replace him with Middleton given the Bud link?...please no.

KD and all of our picks for Gianni’s.

I don’t buy it, and that better not be true. Ugh.

Suns Twitter insiders saying KD isn’t moving…all the national guys saying it’s building steam…it’s the best match up of the season

Scoop can be less than reliable with rumors. I just hope Ishbia isn't meddling and turning down good offers.

Re: 2025 NBA TRADE DEADLINE
I don't have anything concrete to base this on, but I think Nurkic and Allen will get moved before the deadline, but that's it.
Mainly because they don't want to move Durant and nobody wants Beal's contract.

I still haven’t wavered. I’m ridin and dying with 36 and Butler being here on Thursday 1pm.

I'm prepared for a KD/Butler swap. At least maybe then we'd play a better brand of basketball.SunsSince92 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 9:43 amI've got very little confidence in this FO to pull off a trade that doesn't piss the fans off. They clearly had no exit plan when they traded for Beal and his NTC and are now having to part with Ishbias prized asset because they have no other alternative. Just bad planning all round.SunsShine wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 9:20 amAnd Bucks fans are livid about the trade. I just pray we’re not the next team to loathe a trade our team makes within the next 27 hours or so. This KD for Butler talk is awful.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 8:47 amThat trade represents such a deep decline for Middleton. He's only 33 years old, and he was an absolutely essential part of their recent success and title run. And Kuzma is having a horrible season with really bad shooting (42/28/60!). And the Bucks had to throw in a pick swap to get the deal done! Middleton has gone from a 2nd-3rd best player on a title team to an albatross contract that you have to attach picks and players to get off of. Pretty striking. And now he's going to a team that has not prospects and no future, basically there as ballast. How the mighty have fallen.
If Ishbia is forced to trade a superstar he'll want one in return regardless of fit. It wouldn't surprise me at all if it was a swap for Butler.

Re: 2025 NBA TRADE DEADLINE
I generally think that’s the case. If we move KD it’ll be the offseason where we can have a proper bidding war. I don’t think you’re getting the best deals so close to the deadline, unless someone gonna go full Nico and offer us something we can’t turn down.
