AD is top 10-15 talent. Luka is top 5. AD is 6 years older. Luka is now and the future, and you just got to the finals.

But the Mavs organization deserves A LOT of blame because Luka is well worth the supermax,....... and they "didn't" think he was worth it.

What’s wrong with the trade? You try to stay in win-now mode with Butler, you get a younger player in Kuminga, plus you get the multiple firsts for the future. Oh, plus you get JV for Nurk instead of having to give up a first to dump him (and JV makes half of Nurk’s salary).

I doubt we’ll get anything better for KD in the summer.

They need to make a trade with Houston where they at least get the Suns pick this year, with the caveat that you pay to play. There is no chance that a Suns trade with Houston happens in the future without it, but if you give us the pick back, you can come back and look at things in the summer. After they flame out in the first round.
