Nico made the trade for personal reasons and not for the good of the organization. It wreaks of a guy who made the trade about himself, wanted that attention and to be the center of the sports world. He'll forever be known for this trade. Be careful what you wish for. Not condoning death threats obviously but he knew there would be backlash when he made the trade and seemed almost happy with it during the first press conference. Notice he wasn't there for the AD introductory press conference tho. It's sinking in what he did and I'd bet deep down he knows now that he fked up. He fell in love with his own idea so much he lost all common sense.

The NBA landscape has shifted immensely and will be drastically different for the next 15 years because of one man's hubris.
