I'm not a fan, either, but on three straight defensive possessions he:

1. Caused a deflection on a fast break
2. Ripped a rebound down in traffic
3. Dove to grab a steal and call timeout

I thought he played well defensively, poor offensively.

He did, you're right. Between him and PJ though, I've never seen 2 players with so little insight into their limitations.

I don't think his one on one defense is that amazing. He's great at anticipating passes and blocking shots on help.
