We used to be great at 2nd half adjustments when Willie Green was on the bench. That dropped off after he left. I had concerns about Bud's assistants heading into the season. Either they haven't been correcting/anticipating things from the other team or our guys aren't executing. Or both, I guess.

A Willie Green is what we need on our bench. Sigh.
On the other hand, they both wanted KD. Just not at the price of everything. So, it's one thing to not force the procurement of players that he alone wants, it's another on how much he's willing to sacrifice to get them. That's the main issue. But then it still shows that Jones got the wrong supporting cast with the assets they did have remaining.
They're changing the conversation. Gerald and the PHNX crew carry water for the org and have had Bartelstein on their show. The source could be Bartelstein himself covering for the owner. They have to play nice to keep their access.
I'd like to know their involvement in firing Monty and picking the recent coaches.
^ That article is spin for when they let Jones go this summer. It's already done; they didn't extend or re-sign him, so his contract will end and he'll leave. Prepare for Suns GM Isiah Thomas, it's almost a mortal lock.

When does it end, though? June 30? It would be kind of awkward to just let him walk in the middle of the offseason. They’ll probably have to fire him on April 14.

Or I could see Bartlestein being GM and Zeke being President of Basketball Operations.
