Game Day: Suns (29 - 33) @ Nuggets (40 - 22) Friday 03/07/25

Not much point in watching this team's remaining games if they aren't even going to try to do things to help themselves win games this season, nor to play promising young players who will help them improve for future seasons.

This stat is absolutely bonkers. Jokic is amazing.

I didn’t watch the game, but they took Denver, one of the top 5 contenders, to OT in Denver. To me, that seems like they probably did things to win the game.
I too would love to see Gillespie and Dunn, but I’m not sure there is a lot of evidence to say they help us win. Gillespie had one good quarter when the opposition probably wasn’t expecting him to play and didn’t have a game plan for him.

Even if they don’t help us win today, playing them today helps us win in the future. This organization needs to learn the concept of foresight.Split T wrote: ↑Sat Mar 08, 2025 5:44 pmI didn’t watch the game, but they took Denver, one of the top 5 contenders, to OT in Denver. But Bud is coaching for his job, he doesn’t care about winning in the futureCap wrote: ↑Sat Mar 08, 2025 6:15 pmEven if they don’t help us win today, playing them today helps us win in the future. Yes, Bud is doing his job as it has been communicated to him. If the organization understood the concept of foresight, part of that job would be developing the young players for the future. Winning the next game can’t be the only thing that matters to a team in our situation.Split T wrote: ↑Sat Mar 08, 2025 7:19 pmBut Bud is coaching for his job, he doesn’t care about winning in the futureCap wrote: ↑Sat Mar 08, 2025 6:15 pmEven if they don’t help us win today, playing them today helps us win in the future. I agree from an organizational standpoint, but Bud was brought in to win now…not develop the future. He seems likely to be elsewhere next year. If the team completely folds, elsewhere won’t be in the nba either.

Despite all our bad habits and undermining ourselves
Pulling out last game would have been cool especially after the Clippers win
This image probably not circulating that much since we loss but this is a great one

If that’s what he was told by his employer, then the fault isn’t his, it’s his employer’s. You know, the folks who are still going to be here after they scapegoat and fire Bud.

That is a great pic! Too bad it was followed up by an 0-7 OT start.bajanguy008 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 5:49 amDespite all our bad habits and undermining ourselves
