I ran that through Google Translate and it came out, “Gonna have the same roster next year. Watch.”

while you guys were still celebrating Booker's wide open 12 footer that was only his 7th game winner in 10 years of taking last minute shots the Suns the Suns were being absolutely blown out of 3 critical games. In fact, if it wasn't for Durant''s 2 clutch 3's that preceded Booker's open 2 we would have lost the last 5.

and guess who had the worst plus-minus by a long-shot?

-20 this game, in another loss, makes Booker
-100 for the past 4 games.
Allen was next with -12 tonight.
But his fans will insist he had a great game tonight because they don't want to hear that there is another side of the game called defense.

to clarify -- when Booker was on the floor taking 32 shots, scoring 39 and and assisting on 11, the Bucks scored 20 more, as did our prior 3 opponents -- a lot more. That's how you lose games. That's how you miss the playoffs.

If you are still getting excited by Booker's offense at this point in this catastrophic season, you're a Booker fan. Not a Suns fan.

oh, and Booker doesn't just have "7 game winners in the final 3 seconds" he has 7 game winners in his career, period. That's "cherry-picking" at its worst.

the statistics indicate his clutch shooting sucks, a poor 3pt shooter, takes a lot of shots but doesn't make a high percentage, and, of course, he's awful on defense. But, i'm jumping the gun. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and wait till the season's over in two weeks before we compile the stats.

Okay so this season is pretty much over. It hurts like hell to see my team lose, but it is what it is.

Looking forward, Suns need more size and defensive players. Beal ain't leaving, so in the future just bring him off the bench. He can be the 6th man. Got to get a true power forward, that way Durant can stay at his natural small forward position.

It hurts for me to jump ahead, but I'll just accepted the fact that this season is over and it's time to look forward to the off-season.

I get criticizing Booker when he has a bad game. But the guy just gave us 39 and 11 with both of the other "Big 3" out. He was out there playing with mostly a bunch of young guys and scrubs against a talented opponent. His shooting percentage wasn't awesome (14/32) but otherwise what do you want from the guy? This kind of post from 1tin just comes across as a thinly veiled troll.

He plays better without KD.

So sad. We go from the excitement of getting HOFer KD to wanting him gone in 2.2 seasons. Time to move on. But only after decimating our team.

what more do i want from the guy?
how about defense? Not just Russell Westbrook stats!
how about more WINS when a franchise has built the most expensive team in history around him?

what exactly don't you get, Mori?

i purposely picked a game where he had a great OFFENSIVE game to demonstrate that the game of basketball is both offense and DEFENSE (and defense is actually more important to winning games and a championship).

as i said. It makes no difference how much offense you add on the floor in 39 minutes when you're allowing the opponent to score 59 in that time.

who's trolling who in this thread, when i'm constantly presenting the evidence of our grossly misappropriated priority in one player and all i get from other posters is criticism of me?

*DID I NOT POST THE STATS SHOWING HE'S POOR IN THE CLUTCH?
no one contested the claim, they just criticized me for posting it

*DID I NOT POST THE DEFENSIVE STAT SHOWING HE HAS THE WORST DEFENSE POINTS ALLOWED RATING IN SUNS HISTORY?
no one contested the claim, they just criticized me for posting it

*DID I NOT POST THE STAT SHOWING THAT HE IS A BELOW AVERAGE 3PT SHOOTER?
no one contested the claim, they just criticized me for posting it

*NOW I POSTED 4 STRAIGHT GAMES OF THE WORST +/- BY FAR
no one contested the claim, they just criticized me for posting it

Mori, i know you're smarter than that. And so is Superbone, and the others

so is it really me who's the problem here, or is it a brainwashed Booker fan base who fighting, blindly, to again throw away the Suns future this summer on another Booker rebuild (and, according to Bickley, the Suns making him the highest paid player in the world at 70 mil)

You're entitled to your opinion, 1tin. And I do agree that Book has some significant flaws as a player. But you're not likely to persuade me if you say "you're smarter than that" and that I'm "brainwashed" and other such things.

Not really my argument, but I want to chip in because I see both sides. I hope this is constructive.

Tin, it's not your take on Booker that people don't get. It's your strong emotions around the issue.

He's not good in end-game situations? We know.
He's not a great defender? We know.
He's not an efficient 3pt shooter? We know.
Other teams' starters are kicking our butts? We know.

It's not the facts people are criticizing, and I didn't feel like any posters intended to criticize you personally, but I personally don't get why you seem so fixated on Booker. It seems like you are super fixated on Booker's flaws when there are plenty of good things that Bookers does, and plenty of bad things happening elsewhere on the court and in the front office. Book is not the Answer To All Problems, but he isn't the cause of them all either.

My brother in Talos, Booker is always going to have those flaws. And there will always be fans who appreciate the good things he does despite the bad. Why try to convince everyone to hate him?

thank you Gardino, for posting your take rather than just another personal criticism. My emotion is based on the irrational emotion of others who get bent out of shape when i'm just making a logical case of why this team needs to get out of the Booker era/error.

the more they ignore my points to point the finger at me, bends me out of shape. But i don't need antagonism to get me worked up about this situation. I spent 300 hours this year watching this poor product. The game could and should be more competitive and entertaining

i enjoyed the Kevin Johnson era. 50+ wins per season making the playoffs.f
i enjoyed the Barkley era. Wins and playoff wins.
i enjoyed the Jason Kidd era. Wins, playoffs, good defense.
i enjoyed Steve Nash era. Ditto
i enjoyed the CP3 era, though it was only 2 years.
the other 8 of the last 10 have been the worst basketball in Suns history

THAT'S the Booker era

so, tell me Gardino. Why aren't you pissed? You admitted to Booker's flaws. Why do we have to build around one flawed franchise player and pay him like one of the best player's/winners in the world?

if everyone is still mesmerized by his occasional offensive performances, despite poor defense and an awful record and not being among the 24 picked All Stars, why not keep Kevin Durant instead who is a better, more consistent player, and still ranked in the top 10 in the league?

until someone even tries to explain that logic to me, i'm going to keep being motivated to demonstrate the illogic of it
