But didn't they? She's herself outside of the severed floor and just has to get out of the building now, right? You don't think they'll let Mark S out of the building now? And I think it's really cool that Mark S is rebelling. Why shouldn't he? He has his own life and doesn't want to lose it. His outie was pretty flippant about what he needed to sacrifice for him. That whole camcorder conversation was really cool. Loved the movie like ending and credits.
It was good to see what kind of devastation Lumon could do to a whole town and how uncaring they are about it. I hope and think they'll be taken down in glorious fashion to end the series.

WRONG
You have a nice Saturday, Saucy. I hope all is well with you and your family. Enjoy every moment with them. Even the slow, ordinary moments.
I thought the Severance finale was generally awesome and was great fun to watch. Really hyped for it in a way that I haven't been for a TV show episode for some years. It's without a doubt the best show on TV right now. A few spoilery observations:
The main thing I disliked about the season was the constant fake-outs about reintegration. Mark S gets those procedures done on him by Reghavi, but what did it accomplish? A few very brief flashes of memories between them? I thought that after she LITERALLY DRILLED A HOLE IN HIS HEAD IN HIS BASEMENT that he would basically be integrated, but then nah, never mind that, he's still completely separate. What was the point of it then? Why did we devote so much episode time to it when it didn't end up mattering?
The other thing I didn't like was how much the show came to rely on "Character 1 won't tell Character 2 what they know because that would ruin the plot." This is a fairly common problem in TV shows, but like, Mark, Devin, and Cobel are all sitting out in the snow doing nothing ALL DAY and yet she tells them nothing about Lumon, Cold Harbor, Gemma, or any of it? What did they even do all day?
Anyway it was a really cool season and the above are mostly minor gripes. I just have high expectations for such an otherwise exceptional show.
Check out Station Eleven (HBO Max) if you want a post-apocalyptic miniseries about a devastating global flu pandemic wiping out most of humanity. It follows survivors as they navigate the new world and takes place before, during, and years after the pandemic. My wife and I really enjoyed it. Intentionally made as a single season. Has great closure. A good way to prepare for The Last of Us.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton
The Last of Us, Season 2. That first episode was an emotional banger! Wow.
Dis-cuss!

RIght on... I'm gonna re-watch season 1 with the wife since she never watched it and think she'd like it since she liked The Walking Dead. We binged seasons 2 and half of season 3 of White Lotus this weekend. Such a bonkers show
I know I'm probably a little late since it came out 2 years ago, but has anyone watched Kaleidoscope on Netflix with Giancarlo Esposito? Wife and I binge watched the entire thing this past Saturday since it was cold and rainy. Such a good show.
