2025 NBA Playoffs

Post by Superbone »

It's really hard to watch Jimmy Butler as well as he's playing for the Warriors knowing how badly he wanted to come here and how close it was to happening.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

At the expense of Durant so we have no idea if it would have translated as well.
Love, Hurts.

True, but based on what I have seen, I'd do this swap 10 out of 10 times.

It's still crazy to me how cheaply the Warriors got Jimmy Butler. They gave up Andrew Wiggins, Kyle Anderson, and a top-10 protected first-round pick to the Heat. They also had to give out Dennis Schroder to make the deal work. That is mostly mediocre to trash level talent and one pick, PROTECTED, for a bona fide star. NOT five unprotected 1sts, no second-rounders, no pick swaps, NOT multiple starters. And now the Warriors are one of the hottest teams in the NBA, having won something like 20 of 24 since they acquired Jimmy.

Ya that’s because Miami had no leverage and Butler was actively causing problems. KD played nice with Brooklyn and he was signed for 4 years.

At least the Warriors getting Butler could help them destroy the Rockets in the first round now, which could help us in trade talks. :P

Well I guess the defending Western Conference Champions have nothing left to defend…

Yeah, the Pacers are for sure fun to watch. I wonder if Giannis says he wants out this off season, I suppose I would at least ask if Milwaukee would be interested in a KD Giannis swap.

I think they’d likely want to blow it up if they are trading Giannis…you could try and use what you trade KD for to get Giannis, but then why wouldn’t that team just take Giannis. I’d be worried about Houston finding out Giannis is available and passing on KD.

Doubt they’d even consider it without a KD extension and I’m doubting KD would want to go there.

KD kinda makes sense on Indiana to me. Don’t know what the trade would be, but not sure it matters, KD won’t want to go to Indy.

This as always one of my biggest complaints about KD and why I didn’t want him…. You can’t maximize any return when he dictates where he wants to play.

This clippers/nuggets game is great. Westbrook hits the go-ahead 3 and Harden ties it up. 18 seconds to go

Agreed, loving this game. Shaping up to be a very fun series. Clippers look great; I hope Kawhi can stay healthy, he's such a special player. And of course Jokic is just a joy to watch; probably my favorite NBA player.
