For some reason I keep thinking DA will end up in a Lakers uni.
Nooo…I can’t be put in the position of having to decide whether to cheer for the Lakers!

Here's how it'll go.... He'd come in talking all of this game... Post some good stats for the first 3 games then coast, then a couple of good games, then some stinkers, then blames the coach. Somehow... He'd still get snowed in and miss a game, all while L.A. is on fire.

Wolves would be really scary if they had a bit more shooting. As it is I don't think they can beat the best of the league such as OKC, BOS, CLE. They have a lot going for them, though: talent, athleticism, scoring, defense, rebounding, shot-blocking, star power, toughness. I think they're my #2 team in the West. I picked them to go to the WCF in the playoff predictions thread:

The Lakers found out about this tough Wolves team that the Suns have struggled with for the last few years.

Something tells me you'd become a pretty huge Laker fan if that happened. :-) I actually think that would be the worst thing for him. LA would chew him up and spit him out. His imperfections would be on full display there. He's better off hiding on a middling team like Portland where he isn't the focus of attention.

I really hope he figures it out some day how to put in the effort on a nightly basis but I'm not holding my breath. He appears to be content to just put in enough work to get those paychecks to keep coming. I mean, depending on how well he's handled his wealth, he'd never need another contract again. Of course we know what Latrell Sprewell said though.

Clippers force game 7 vs Denver. Nic Batum was awesome in this one…always wanted him

This Nuggets/Clippers series is really delivering as advertised. Almost every game has been a great watch. In Game 6 I thought both Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun played great despite the loss. Braun was really fired up and hit some big shots for them; Gordon is really smart about his positioning on rebounds and moving without the ball. Russell Westbrook gives them great energy despite flubbing a few layups down the stretch.

For the Clips, it seems like if they get reliable scoring from a 3rd guy (Powell, or Zubac, or Batum) they are very hard to beat. I thought Bogdanovic would be better for them but he doesn't make much of an impact. Zubac has mostly done a really good job sticking with Jokic on defense, even blocking his shot late in Game 6. It doesn't really show up in the stats, where Jokic ends up with a 25/7/8 and Zubac gets a 10/6/0. But the impact is there.

I still like Denver to win Game 7 at home, but clearly this is anybody's series. Along with GSW/HOU on Friday there are some exciting series to watch this weekend.

Yeah you wouldn’t want him being exposed in the Western Conference Finals or something…

It’s crazy how close the games were in the Knicks-Pistons series. The last 4 games were decided by 9 points combined!

It’s gotta be frustrating for Detroit, losing by 2 points, 1 point, and 3 points.

It was a pretty intense series. I agree with you about how Detroit must feel, but, that's the difference it makes to have a great closer like Brunson. He hit that huge 3 to take the series. The Pistons have a lot of talent and a great leader / floor general in Cade, but they would really benefit from a guy who could finish games and hit a huge shot for them.

Sounds like they could benefit from a Hall of Fame veteran presence. Those types don't come cheap though. I hope for their sake they are able to part with their young talent and/or picks. This type of player will be in demand and hard to get!

Was a pretty fun series and was hoping the pistons could tough it out. They made a solid come back in the forth and thought they were going to win the game. Brunson was such a stud and not a lot Detroit could do about him. Shroder was wearing him like a wet paper sack and the guy was still finding ways to score.

What are the odds LeBron stays healthy? Seriously would love to know his regimen. If it came out he was doing a lot of stem cell and HRT I wouldn’t be surprised.
