Would you do Johnson/Vassell/#14?

In all seriousness SA front office is full of morons if they go after a 37 year old KD to pair with their teenage core

There is no scenario in which our front office is capable of landing #2 instead of #14…they will cave for #14 every single time.

exactly... they'd all be looking to him for leadership and we all know he wants nothing to do with that.

then they'll take that number 14 and trade it for 5 second rounders, because you know.. draft picks.

I'd do Johnson, Barnes, Sochan and 2 but that seems like a lot coming back?

Gotta make the salaries work…I agree it’s probably too much. I don’t see SA trading #2 for KD…I don’t see them trading Castle either, but maybe…maybe they don’t think Castle fits with Harper/Fox

We know that. Hopefully, they don't.

The Spurs should trade for KD and then sign Bol Bol as a FA. Then along with Wemby they could start the most praying-mantis-ass frontcourt in NBA history.

Tallest twin towers in the history of twin towers. Or is that nickname not in vogue these days?

Someone told me that Gambo said he expects a KD trade around draft night…thought that was interesting…disclaimer is I didn’t hear the actual conversation.

Interesting, would lead me to believe that there is already a deal in place of this were true. Probably with Houston, since Ivey stayed there.

Only if you flip Green elsewhere because he sucks butt.

Ya I’d try to do that, but he’s really the only salary that makes sense. I’d be shocked if a Houston trade didn’t include Green.

Of course, they saw him take a dump in the playoffs just like we did, only up closer lol.

I thought Utah might be an interesting 3rd team for Green until they dropped to 5…almost definitely they are picking a similar guard with more potential now. I would’ve been interested in a Green/Collins swap

I hope we get at least one more pick than that. And we'll have to try to deal Green (or get a third team involved) since the fit of Beal/Green/Book is atrocious and would eat up 90% of our cap.

I think you gotta assume Beal is gone…but yes Green/Booker is not a good fit either. I would love to get another pick, but I just don’t think we are getting that much for KD.
