Gerald Gourmet weighs in with some Ishbia tid bits saying some stuff that made me laugh.
According to another source, Ishbia emailed the Suns basketball operations team internally on Wednesday, taking accountability for not doing enough to establish a culture and identity in Phoenix. The Suns owner stated that he tried “running the typical NBA owner playbook” of “hiring experts, signing checks and getting out of the way,” but no one was happy with the outcome.

Now, despite insisting that he is not reviewing film, designing offenses or running the draft room, Ishbia intends to be “extremely active in the decisions and management.” He acknowledged his more unconventional approach as an owner is to ensure the Suns get back to the requisite level of winning that’s been absent the last few years.
So the only thing Ishbia took away from all his failures was that he wasn’t involved enough in the decisions. Ugh.

He's such a fking ass.

Did he tho? He forced the KD trade before the ink was dry on his ownership papers. Seems he's already been heavily involved and this has been the outcome. So now he's going to be more involved? And let's definitely not hire any experts. Don't want them around.

Which is what made me laugh. The lack of accountability for his lack of accountability lol.

Devils advocate, maybe he really did let JJ make all the decisions? We'll never really know unfortunately.

Ishbia doubling down on knowing more than everyone else. Brace yourself for a rough ride, folks.

Woj reported that Ishbia negotiated with Brooklyn’s owner directly, for the KD trade.

EDIT: Found the short version:
Talks had progressed and stalled, and the Suns appeared to be pivoting toward a three-way deal that might've landed them Atlanta's John Collins sometime Thursday morning, sources said. On the direction of his new owner, Mat Ishbia, general manager James Jones texted Nets GM Sean Marks sometime after 11 p.m. ET -- and it wouldn't be long until Ishbia and Nets owner Joe Tsai had cobbled together the final elements of the blockbuster trade, sources said.

Same... Every time we try to give them the benefit of the doubt, they go and do exactly what we already knew they were going to do.

They come up with a bunch of catchy buzz words and phrases to make it sound like they know what they're doing but until we see actual results they better be ready to swallow all of the crap we throw at them.

I think it’s disgusting that this guy legally married himself. What kind of sick bastard does that. Jordan and Jordan Ott. The ego on this guy.

It’s giving early Robert Sarver vibes except he’s willing to spend money.
