While recognizing that I could ask the man himself, I will instead ask you. How excited is Jeremy going to be for Maluach?

Re: 2025 NBA DRAFT NIGHT!
I didn’t even have Maluach on my list for one reason: he has trouble even staying on the floor due to conditioning issues.

Cotton fitzsimmons, Paul westphal, or Al McCoy?
For me and myself, I'm torn. All three of those guys were formative in my Phoenix Suns fan hood. I would want cotton for his coaching, Westy's Prime playing career, and Al McCoy for his Golden Voice.
Hmm.
Re: 2025 NBA DRAFT NIGHT!
Williams, Richards, and Maluach. Three centers, and not one of them will ever be as good as Ayton. Being a Suns fan sucks.

I would say hot and I would say damn. But instead that is more like a hot damn.
However, I would imagine you feel that those conditioning issues are something that he can rectify...? And I guess I will get right to it and ask you... do you feel like that he is going to put the necessary work towards putting those issues to bed?

At the risk of answering my own question, jeremy, but... do you not feel in the slightest bit that you could possibly be even a bit premature in that prediction, at this point?

A prediction is meant to be made beforehand, correct?Charlie Smithy! wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 7:36 pmAt the risk of answering my own question, jeremy, but... do you not feel in the slightest bit that you could possibly be even a bit premature in that prediction, at this point?![]()

Man, the Wikipedia people don't mess around!
Khaman Madit Maluach (born 14 September 2006) is a South Sudanese professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils. Standing at 7 ft 2 in (2.18 m), he plays the center position. He is also a current member of the South Sudan men's national basketball team, which he joined at the age of 16.[citation needed]

Why do you feel, at this admittedly early juncture, that none of those centers will ever match the career of Deandre?
Re: 2025 NBA DRAFT NIGHT!
I don’t even know if it’s a matter of putting in the work…a lot of big men struggle with getting winded. Maluach even vomited while on the court during one game.Charlie Smithy! wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 7:35 pmI would say hot and I would say damn. But instead that is more like a hot damn.

I would not draft a center who has to have his minutes limited, a la Javale McGee.

Re: 2025 NBA DRAFT NIGHT!
Ayton and Williams had very similar statistics this year (including games played and minutes) and the only real difference is price tag.
2025-26 salaries -
Williams - $6,276,531
Ayton - $35,550,814

) counselor cap and let's, at least possibly, unpack the psychology behind your prediction:
Why do you feel, at this admittedly early juncture, that none of those centers will ever match the career of Deandre?
Maluach: Don’t think he has the offensive skillset, plus he may be limited in minutes like I said.
Williams: Health issues, doesn’t have the shooting skills.
