Hmm…doesn’t say much…but kinda implies no major moves and that we are keeping the final roster spot open as we already have a roster spot.

Gambo seems pretty adamant in the comments it won’t be CP3 or Brogdon.

If Paul wants to play in LA that’s one thing, but it’s so dumb if we’re not pursuing him. He’d be so great here for so many reasons. Total floor raiser record-wise when we don’t have our pick. Mentor to our young guys. Shot creator. Someone who can elevate our bigs. Coach on the floor. He’s really what we’re missing.
Precious Achiuwa, Dalano Banton, Batum, Chris Boucher, Amir Coffey, Tre Jones, Laravia, Mamukelashvili, Tre Mann, De'Anthony Melton, Minott, Nance, Chris Paul, GP2, T. Prince, Reed, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Tate, Watford, Yabusele

Well, agree and disagree at the same time. What if the way he plays is at odds with what CJO wants to implement? He's openly talked about wanting to run. Of course a good coach makes use of the personnel he has, but there's also something to be said about acquiring guys that fit your system.
Go Suns!

I think Paul will get more than we can offer. We won't have the MLE unless Beal agrees to a big enough cut, right? We will have to see after the buyout is complete, but I think most of the guys we've heard of will be out of our price range.

I disagree that Paul is a good choice. He will want too much money, and he's too plodding. The Suns need to pick up the pace, and a 40-year-old CP3 is not going to change his colors.

In my analysis, he’s coming here for a TPMLE or minimum deal, and he’s comfortable being the first guard off the bench.

The Timeline guys pointed out we were 8th in pace with Chris Paul and have been much worse since he left.

Yeah, if CP3 would agree to coming off the bench and play with pace, I'd love him here! What a valuable asset he'd be just to have in the locker room assuming he'd play nice with Ott and the coaching staff. And that is a concern. You wouldn't want him forming a wedge with the rookie head coach and causing any conflict with how he wants the team to perform.

Definitely a no on Simmons for me. He's been consistently mentally fragile.

I'd definitely take back Melton and he seems to align with our plans.

He is…but he gives us size, defense, and playmaking. A lot of things we need if we’re starting a Booker/Green backcourt.

I might have had some concern about CP being too vocal and too much of a leader for a first time coach like Ott. A lot of young guys, a pretty young staff overall....CP might just be better off on a veteran team with an established coach like Lue with the Clips.

Simmons is interesting if only because he's a PG with a PF body, could fill a niche for sure, just don't think he's got the mental left to do anything.

Ott doesn't seems like the type to get yelled at by players to me, he's got some gruff to him.

Of course it would be Simmons because there always has to be a player I loathe and a lot of fans overrate on the roster.

That guy sucks just like Beal sucks, and I don't think they're considering him based on the "toughness" and "dogs" mentality that's been broadcast by the team.

I mean Beal on a vet min would be awesome…

Except he's not going to sign for the veteran minimum.
