Except he's not going to sign for the veteran minimum.
Simmons? If it’s more than the vet min, it’s marginally more and will just be a 1 year deal.

No, Beal.

Salary amount is insignificant to me with Simmons, he's weak willed with an inflated ego. There's no reason to willfully add that potential distraction.

Beal on a TPMLE is also pretty great.

As for Simmons, I admit to being a bit of an irrational fan of his. He probably doesn’t work out, but a big playmaker is a pretty big need of ours…especially one who can defend multiple positions. Though I admittedly don’t know what level his defense is at at this point.

His size and his passing skills would be good fits. Everything else about him is an awful fit. Hard pass.

That actually makes a lot of sense. Beal wants to get paid now…if he’s stretched, he also gets paid over 5 years and this means he gets like 15 million Tuesday.

Pay that man his money.

Can't pin the blame on Beal for this - the Suns know very well what the clauses in Beal's contract are and could have squashed rumours that it was imminent very easily.

Yeah, this seems like Gambo got some info from someone who wasn't all that familiar with the contract fine print, just hope we can move on next week.

Is Ishbia allowed to tell him he’ll give him all of his money upfront if he takes a bigger pay cut?

Yeah, okay guy. None of this is Beal's fault. Play like a pussy, tank his value, hold us by the balls and prevent us from an early out so we can get some FA early in free agencies so he can get his money earlier instead of spread out. Fuck this clown. I wish him nothing but the worst. Worst Sun ever.

Bradley Beal hasn’t been bought out yet because he is going to get traded to Lakers for LeBron.

I don’t think it makes sense. A buyout wouldn’t negate the upfront clause in his agreement.

Also, the stretch provision just relates to the cap hit. The team still has to pay the money as per the agreement.

That’s what I thought, but I’ve seen people saying that it actually changes how he’s paid…so I’m not sure what the actual process is.
