Game Day - Summer League Edition: Suns (1-0) @ Hawks (1-0), Sun 7/13/25

Post by Superbone »

Time: 12:30 pm AZ (12:30 pm PT/3:30 pm ET)
Place: Pavilion, Las Vegas, NV
TV: NBA TV, AZ Family TV

I'm hoping Fleming will be able to play today. And let's see if the Summer Suns can pick up where they left off last game.

Go Suns!!!

Definitely interested to see what carries over from the first game. Can we keep up the effort and aggression? Will Maluach be better adjusted to the speed of the game? Can Koby keep up the shooting and will the Hawks be keying in on him? Want to see Dunn and Oso stay aggressive and lead the way. Would love to see the same amount of activity from Huntley.

It feels so good to have exciting, hard working and talented young players! LFG!
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I expected Maluach to move as smoothly as Sarr does; I have to lower my expectations(for now). He's more Gobert than Giannis

I'm not ready to label him yet. Let's give him some time to adjust to the NBA game. He's only 18-years-old! Let that sink in.

FYI, the game is also being broadcast on local AZ Family TV. I set up a recording there as well to see if it's local and different than the NBA TV broadcast.

Make or miss, right? Maybe he'll go 2 for 6 today. :) Love the kid's confidence.

As.long as he's taking them within the flow of offense, fire away. I saw a bit of Brook Lopez last time out, he wasn't always in the best position to rebound but moved his feet well and deterred shots

He's much larger than both of those guys, how many 7'2" guys can move like guards? He's definitely a C, Lopez, Zubac I think is where he falls in terms of athletic ability.

And Dunn? It's game one of a back to back, they play again tomorrow.

Koby Brea… might end up being a massive steal.
