The Suns second of two games in Macao, China, against the Nets as part of the 2025 NBA China Games. 4 am AZ time start time Sunday morning! The Suns showed resilience in the first game coming back from a hot start by the Nets and as much as an 18 point deficit only to storm back and win in OT. Hopefully, the Suns will start much stronger in Game 2 of the China games.

I'm one that thinks Oso can have value with his ability to be a roller (finishing at the rim or making the right pass)
Ryan didn't really shoot much last game, he's been aggressive but hasn't gotten anything to drop yet

Grayson to Brooks alley-oop was not something I expected to see

Well at least the Nets are missing some shots to start the game but we're not shooting much better. Dunn bricked a corner 3, then drove twice and was defended well so he's 0-3 to start. Rebounding more aggressively this game so far. Outside shots aren't falling so we're mixing in some PnR with cutters. Nice lob from Allen to Brooks in transition off a Nets' TO.

Green will help with shot creation and scoring, which we're lacking at the moment. The Nets have Cam Thomas and MPJ who can pretty much gets their shots and score at will. Thomas is just a pure scorer.

Suns are going to be a very, very good defensive team this year. Chemistry seems OK based on what I saw during the warmups.

Bench is a little rough right now with just CG, Allen, Royce, NHD and Richards. Feels like CG is being forced to do too much.

CG was fine. But Maluach showing why he is considered so raw.

Overall, this team is going to be feisty, hard working, and offensively challenged. The team fell apart offensively when the bench was out there without Gillespie, the ball handling is a bit lacking although Oso definitely helps. The shooting is a bit weak but let's see if Green helps with the offensive lulls.

This is going to be a much better team than most people imagined, though.
