Based on preseason and Game 1, NHD is struggling for sure. He is not doing anything well. I'm not ready to give up on him yet, but if he doesn't start to play better soon, I expect we will start seeing Fleming a lot.

NHD seems like exactly the kind of player who should play overseas rather than in the NBA, because he's a guy who wants the ball, is good at shooting and scoring, but only against sub-NBA-level competition. So in a European or other international league, he can be really valuable and score a bunch of points and be a big part of his team. But here, you just don't get the ball or the minutes to do that walking into a team. So you have to have some elite skills; you need to be a dead-eye shooter, or an outstanding defender, or great at rebounding and guarding the interior, or something. You can't just kind of be "the man" and be all-around and carry that over to the NBA. I don't think he is cut out for the league.

We will see. Probably have to give it more than exhibition and one game though.
