Pretty much what we were expecting. And it makes sense that our training staff will be even more cautious this time around.

Just astonishing that he had played in like 200 straight games before he came here, and then this happens.
Cursed franchise.
Cursed franchise.

I feel ya... however, with the "vibes" of this group and with our depth at that position we'll be ok. I think I'll be more concerned if this becomes a constant issue like KJ but for now, he's a young kid and from what I've seen this has only happened to him once before on 11/26/2021.

I might be tempted to sit Williams against the Pacers. Not a lot of size up front there.

Does my prediction of 50 games sound so crazy?

I don't know about 50, but if we somehow end up better than the Rockets in the Standings I'll probably drink a lot.

Grayson has really mellowed out as he's matured and started a family.

So just looking at some stats right now:
We're are:
15th in Net Rating
14th in Defensive Rating
7th in Ast% but 24th in A/TO ratio
11th in Rebounding % and 5th in OReb %
12th in EFG% and 14th in TS%
Just 24th in Pace
26th in TO% (bad)
Most of those numbers jump significantly if we keep it to just the last 5 games. Turnovers are still a problem tho regardless and we're 28th pace which matches the eye test.

What does 28th pace even mean? I've enjoyed the pace we've played at.ShelC wrote: ↑Wed Nov 12, 2025 5:10 pmSo just looking at some stats right now:

Re: Suns News: Week 4 (11/10 - 11/16)
It's the number of possessions per game. If you're playing slower, you're likely to have less possessions throughout the game; play faster and you get more possessions. It seems like we've been playing a bit slower recently, Book walking the ball up more when he's handling the ball.
Re: Suns News: Week 4 (11/10 - 11/16)
Just a typo, I think. 28th pLace, meaning we commit more turnovers than almost everyone.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Wed Nov 12, 2025 5:49 pmWhat does 28th pace even mean? I've enjoyed the pace we've played at.ShelC wrote: ↑Wed Nov 12, 2025 5:10 pmSo just looking at some stats right now:

Actual pace is pretty low, too, but I agree with you that our pace is good. We aren't standing around on offense; we move the ball and attack until we get a good shot. That's partly the cause of the turnovers, too. More passes means more opportunity to make a bad pass. It's why we are a bit better in TO% than in raw turnovers. I'll be watching to see if we move up the ranks in TO%.
Edit: I was wrong.

Sorry for the typo - it was 28th in pace in the previous 5 games. It's not a perfect stat but we aren't getting out and running either and are 25th in fastbreak points. But we are playing quick in the halfcourt, moving the ball and making the defense move side to side, help and then recover back out. I would like to see pace stats and fastbreak points for the bench because I think they play a bit faster overall.

This matches up with what we saw in that quadrant chart I think you posted. We were in the bottom right quadrant for one of the best half court offenses but not so much in fast break offense.ShelC wrote: ↑Thu Nov 13, 2025 7:55 amSorry for the typo - it was 28th in pace in the previous 5 games.
