Interested to see if they JJ or Luka/LeBron make a concerted effort to raise his effort and level of play.

I have no idea what they're advertising but I'm always stopped dead in my tracks by the two hot blondes commercial starring Sophie during Suns games.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Sophie Cunningham definitely does something to me inside.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Is it gas? If it persists longer than a few hours I'd get it checked out.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Wed Oct 22, 2025 2:25 pmSophie Cunningham definitely does something to me inside.

DA/Lakers watch: He had 29 points (on 14/19 shooting), 10 rebounds, 3 blocks in their win yesterday over Portland.

Yeah, I watched some of that game. Classic Ayton against his former teams. Had one of his best games and was really giving effort throughout.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Tue Nov 04, 2025 2:32 pmDA/Lakers watch: He had 29 points (on 14/19 shooting), 10 rebounds, 3 blocks in their win yesterday over Portland.

Revenge game for waiving him, I guess.

Always the infuriating thing about that bum.... He's lazy and chooses when to play.

Re: All Things Ayton
19 shots and only 2 FTs. But that's the kind of game that fools people into thinking "If he can play like that consistently we've got a top 5 center!".
Re: All Things Ayton
Yeah, agreed on all counts. We've always known what DA was capable of at his best. That has never been the issue. The issue is motivation, consistency, playing hard and smart and playing the right way. Good money says he has, like, 7 points in their next game now that he is relieved of his temporary motivation to play hard against his former team.

I know, I know, I know...its like picking a scab, I can't always help myself...vs. Pelicans, 20 pts, 16 Rebounds, 5 PF, 36 min...wow..
How in all that's holy does a 7ft. center have those kind of stats for a game...and not get ONE FT? Not ONE? THAT's why I always loathed him...that SCREAMS SOFTTTTT...how? 16 REB...5PF...and not ONE FT? It defies logic...is he invisible? Does he just nimbly bypass every defender and draw no contact? Just...wow...

Re: All Things Ayton
I mean, if he consistently put up 20 and 16, I wouldn't care that he had 0 FT. But he had all too many games where he completely disappeared on us. Good for him if he has finally found a basketball situation that works for him, I guess.

Re: All Things Ayton
Every time I see a lakers fan say how great he is after having some great game I just let them live in that fantasy world in knowing that they're in for the ultimate dick punch from that guy when he's needed most. Ayton could have had Popovich or Phil and still would have blamed them for his shortcomings.

Please God let him keep it up and the Lakers extend him
