Damn. When did Flemming get hurt…
Re: Game Day: Wolves (10-5) @ Suns (9-6), Fri 11/21/25
The Wolves' size concerns me, especially Randle who's a load and we've had trouble with for a few years now even when he was with the Knicks. Maybe a Wemby type of gameplan doubling Randle and rotating out to Ant and DDV will work. You want Randle making quick decisions and he doesn't always handle doubles well. Just can't leave someone like Royce, Dunn or Brooks alone on him. Wonder if Oso sees some minutes at the 4.
Re: Game Day: Wolves (10-5) @ Suns (9-6), Fri 11/21/25
Brooks is pretty strong and probably the best option(outside of a 5) we’ve had for Randle in awhile. Randle could definitely still be a problem though.

This is gonna be a tough one. Wish Grayson were back; we really need some more scoring next to Book. Our big men are mostly lousy matchups against Minny's front line. Will be interesting to see whether Mark Williams is able to get any good looks against Gobert.

Exactly. Was it in practice ? I didn't see him get hurt in the Blazer game.

Recent history between these teams has not been kind to the Suns. To recap:
The Suns last beat the Wolves in the final regular season game of the Vogel era, in April 2024. This set up a matchup between the teams in the first round of the playoffs. A lot of experts picked the Suns, who had won all 3 regular season games that year, to take the series. Instead, Minnesota absolutely curbstomped Phoenix through the first three games, then took a close game 4 for the sweep, despite Booker's 49 points. One could also think of as this as the defining Brad Beal game in a Suns uniform: 30% shooting, 9 points, 6 turnovers, 6 fouls in what was almost certainly the last game of any significance that he'll ever play.
Then the TWolves continued to pile insult onto injury last season, sweeping the 4-game regular season series with the final two games again being double digit beatdowns. All in all it's eight consecutive losses, with five of them being by at least 12 points.
So this could be a chance to see if this is a team that won't be intimidated and take all that lying down. It'd be nice to see some fire and competitiveness out of the group tonight.

Refs are on their BS early not calling Randle for some offensive fouls and getting Williams and Brooks with 2 fouls each. Wolves hurting us with ORs, we've stopped moving the ball around.

This team has really owned us in recent years, as BK explained so well in his post. We're playing them tough so far; I like it. Brooks irritating Randle is kind of fun to watch. Gillespie is the man. Mark Williams and Nick Richards both look spry tonight; it is really nice to have a playable center rotation for once.

Alert: We have Oso out there vs Gobert. I am concerned.

Keep them shooting jumpers and off the offensive glass and we should be good.

41-28 Suns! T-Pups call timeout. Loving our hustle and energy. Gillespie going absolutely bonkers with 13 points.
