Time: 8:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: Golden 1 Center, Sacramento, CA
TV: AZ Family 3TV/NBALP

NBA Cup game tonight. Suns would move to 3-0 in Cup play with a win. But don't kid yourselves. This game will not be easy. Kings have been on a tear as of late. They beat the Nuggets and Timberwolves in their last two games. Suns will continue to be without Allen and Dunn. Kings are without Sabonis but Keegan Murray is back and scored 26 in their win over the Wolves.

Mega trap game vibes here. Holiday break coming up, playing against a team we "should" beat. But we have had some time to rest, and the fresh legs should help our short-handed crew. This team in general has not played down to the level of competition; I like that about them. I think we can take this one.

I'll be watching to see who wants to be our 2nd-leading scorer tonight. Is it Dillon Brooks by default? Gillespie? Mark Williams? Who wants to put up some shots??

While I think Booker has done fine in the starting PG role, I think it would be interesting to see what it looks like with Gillespie starting instead of Goodwin tonight and take the primary ball-handling duties, at least initially. Set up Book to get some easy looks or cuts and see if that can get him out of his mini-slump that he's got going on right now.

I'm not buying what you are selling that we "should" beat them. They just beat Denver and Minny like I said above. Plus, we're injured pretty deep.

Kings are pretty much perimeter oriented now without Sabonis so we just need to throw bodies at DD, Lavine, Keegan and Keon Ellis to them from getting hot. Achuiwa and Eubanks are hustle bigs but undersized. Hopefully we stay locked in and take care of business here.

Good energy so far, up 17-6. Sac calls timeout. Brooks already has 7, Gillespie 5.

Great start so far. Feels like a good response after the rockets game. Kings will punch back soon tho.

Sucks, but someone is going to throw big contract at Gilly. Good for him.

Williams is feasting on these wimpy Kings with 8 points and 10 boards and we haven't even hit halftime yet.

After nailing his first two 3pt shots, Booker is now 0-17 from 3.

More than we can offer? We’ll be able to give him like 4/60 if we want. I don’t think anyone offers him more than that

I do. If he plays like this all season.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton
