Suns News: Week 7 (12/1 - 12/7)
Re: Suns News: Week 7 (12/1 - 12/7)
I'm really not too concerned about Book being out a bit. I love the guy but we played darned well without him and it might be good for him to sit on the bench and see how he might adapt his game a bit to this team. He currently tries to force things too much against double teams. I think he needs to learn to get rid of the ball sooner and wait for better opportunities that will come as a result.
Plus, he was struggling as it is. A little rest might do him good.

Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Jenner will massage the strains out of it.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Perspective from a fantasy league guy but still a valid point
Think schedule is so light because of NBA Cup
He will miss the rematch against Thunder

Bruce?
Re: Suns News: Week 7 (12/1 - 12/7)
Not on 2-pointers, which is where he’s shooting insane numbers.
Here’s where he was last yr vs this year from each range on bbref:
0-3 feet: 54.9% last year and 75.9% this year
3-10 feet: 47.5% to 53.2%
10-16 feet: 37.2% to 53.3%
16-22 feet: 48.1% to 52.0%
3pters: 39.7% to 32.0%
Pretty huge differences across the board. He’s shooting 57% overall on 2s when his career high was 49% before this year. The 2 point percentages are definitely going to come down, but hopefully that coincides with his 3 point percentages increasing.

Every player has a career year, which is a year that is better than their prior years. Also, his lower %'s weren't with the Suns. Playing for the Suns really improves players.Split T wrote: ↑Wed Dec 03, 2025 4:14 pmNot on 2-pointers, which is where he’s shooting insane numbers.

I don't think we should trade him.

I’m not saying we should trade him…just don’t expect him to keep shooting 57% from 2. Also, 57% from 49% isn’t just a career year…it’s a clear outlier.

Just think of this as a nice plus shooting month that corresponds to our success rather than Brooks being the new Ron Artest.
What is the deal with our schedule? Is it going to be hellish again after the new years or is everybody light coz of the IST?

Have we tried just enjoying the team instead of waiting for some axe to drop?
