Kawhi has to be scratching his head. He was mostly healthy for the stretch between about Christmas and the beginning of February, and the Clips went 17-4 and started to look like a playoff threat. Now the second and third best players from that group are gone. Seems weird.

Looks like it converts to an unprotected 2031 pick if it doesn't convey this year. So the Clippers get some guaranteed value out of it, and can roll the dice on an unlikely outcome this year. Not bad.

Our 3 guys won't need the ball in heir hands to make their impact felt. Kuminga needed the ball, hard to give him touches with Dray, Jimmy and Curry swallowing most of them.

Plus, our guys don't have the baggage that comes with being a high draft pick.
