Sorry but why the hell did EJ keep talking about the Lakers Spurs game ans about how one of those teams has to fly here tonight.
Did no one in the headset remind him we play OKC tomorrow and not the Spurs or Lakers.
Golllly man.

If SGA is playing, probably.

Don't love the Book-Green-Royce-Brooks-Williams lineup. Not enough sandpaper in that one. Reminds me of last year's team. You need Gillespie, Goodwin or Dunn in there to do the dirty work.

I think that line up will be gone as soon as Allen is back.

I was going to say. Nothing you can say to criticize Dunn tonight. His best game of the season.specialsauce wrote: ↑Tue Feb 10, 2026 9:38 pmYes. Way too much black hole down the stretch. I'm really getting sick of him.

If you look at his percentages Dunn is one of our most efficient players. He doesn't get big numbers because he doesn't take many shots

Yeah, Dunn was great in this one. You can really feel his energy, athleticism and defense when he's out there. He's had a disappointing season in some ways, but I still think he's a good young player and really like having him on the team. Every time he hits a spot-up 3 I pump my fist in the air; that's how he will truly become a guy we can play for long minutes.Bucktastic365 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 11, 2026 3:01 amIf you look at his percentages Dunn is one of our most efficient players. Not overly concerned with the Mavs coming back. Refs janked up the game for no reason with all the fouls in the 4th. Almost ike they wanted to help even things out because the Mavs weren't hitting 3s. We also had such a big lead so early that the Mavs were bound to make a run and you can make up 10 points in 3 possessions in today's game. I do have concerns with ball and player movement late in games and with our starters but I'll chalk last night up to everyone still trying to feel things out with Book and Green back.
CG, Goodwin, Coffey, Dunn, Oso lineup wasn't a good one heading into the 4th. Would've kept Jalen or Book out there because you need a go-to scorer with that group. Green with the bench at the end of the 1st looked really good. CG, Oso, Dunn and Goodwin have played a lot together and have great chemistry, Green seemed to fit in well as the scorer so the others didn't have to overextend themselves offensively.
The ball definitely slows down with the starters and with Book handling, teams almost immediately go to doubling and trapping him because he just plays slow and dribbles too long. We need to find the balance of playing quickly, getting good shots and still working the clock later in games.
Oso with another great game. Felt like he was everywhere on both ends and the ball moves effortlessly when he's on the floor. Dunn was impactful on both ends too. He finally finished off one of his drives which is a big step for him. If he can get to the rim and finish, he becomes a different player.
I thought Coffey looked pretty good but the refs seemed to be picking on him with fouls. Hit a few shots, hustled around defensively. Interesting to see him get minutes so soon.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Agree. See below screenshot. They had 44 FTAs with a minute left to our 9!ShelC wrote: ↑Wed Feb 11, 2026 9:03 amNot overly concerned with the Mavs coming back. The Suns shot 50 3s, you can't expect a bunch of FTa with that.

I didn’t watch the whole game, but we didn’t seem very aggressive in attacking the rim. I did feel like the refs were calling some ticky tack stuff on us, but outside of a couple instances, didn’t feel like there was obvious missed calls. Again, I didn’t watch the whole game though.

Just think, we would have lost if the Mavs had made all their free throws.

OK, ref.
That foul they reversed on Colin was ridiculous to me. Said his left leg was in an unnatural position. What?! Suns broadcast showed it multiple times and there was nothing unnatural about it. He was just backing up and got hit in the face.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I love how this team plays defensively and how hard they play, I loathe them offensively.

What? You don't like the Dillon Brooks one-on-five game?

That dude should never shoot 26x in a game. Ever.
