If they let Mark Williams walk, they will have given up two 1sts for a one-year rental of a brittle big man. I understand the sunk cost fallacy argument but that'll be a low-key disastrous trade in retrospect. I actually really hope they re-sign Williams because I don't think Oso / ManMan is a successful NBA center rotation in 2026-27. They might get there in a year or two, but not yet.

The trade didn't make sense from Day 1. From Williams' injury history to the contract situation and giving up picks. It's why I still don't think much of this FO.
