2026 NBA Offseason
Re: 2026 Offseason
I feel like this kind of move would be better than targeting the Gambo pu pu platter. He’s an actual PG with upside, but can’t shoot so wasn’t the best target.
Re: 2026 Offseason
This is a fascinating trade that may be a precursor to others, but it leaves Memphis with 10 (!!!) PFs (Cam Boozer, GG Jackson, Beef Stew, Aldama, Taylor Hendricks, Grant, OMax Prosper, K. Murray, Karim Lopez) and Portland with a ton of PGs (Morant, Lillard, Jrue, Scoot).
This is where, had we not blown our assets on an undersized PF before we needed to, we could have exercised leverage in a trade to correct their roster imbalances while solving ours.

Bouyea still non-guaranteed so we can cut him whenever…
Also, really wish we could jump into that trade and take Grant for Green…or if Portland needs to offload Jrue now haha

I would not trade Green for Grant.

Blazers another team shooting itself on the foot after a surprising season with Ja. Makes zero sense for them.

Re: 2026 Offseason
The ultimate way to Align this roster would be to somehow turn Jalen Green’s salary into Jrue Holiday. Would overwhelmingly have to involve a 3rd team that has. Jalen Green truther in their ranks. Are there any of those?

Can I ask why?

Wow, Ja to Portland. I think he will be good again in his career, but I kind of hate the fit in Portland. Way too many guards who want the ball.

Re: 2026 Offseason
I'd have rather had Kuminga than Bridges
Re: 2026 Offseason
I get that people dislike Green’s fit. It’s not perfect. But can we please stop making trade proposals that move 8 to 10 years in age in the wrong direction? A normal front office might do that and extract some draft assets to make it palatable. This team, we are gonna slap two remaining first rounders for that privilege.
Re: 2026 Offseason
I would’ve taken that gamble. Not sure why we are never part of these trades. Was it because the Hawks had cap space that Carter just fit into?

I don't think Ja's career is over by any means, so that's a fantastic deal for the Blazers.
