I’m gonna go through my seven stages of grief with this Bridges trade yet. But knowing that we could have had Tobias Harris or Rui Hachimura for much cheaper or Kenrich Williams for free is not gonna help the cause.
Or LeBron!
Uh no thanks. Not interested in a drama queen.

LeBron would be such a huge get for us. He can literally fill any hole we have. Personally, I'd love to run him out there at point and let Booker play off the ball. He could move to forward with Gillespie coming off the bench. He would be a positive influence on Maluach and Fleming. For all the character issues attached to Bridges, his are the opposite. It would be malpractice for us to not even inquire about him on the team.

LeBron the basketball player is still good despite his advanced age (tho he doesn’t play defense anymore and lost his outside touch late last year). LeBron the person brings way too much hoopla and will most likely impact the locker room in a way that I don’t want. The team unity and clear love for each other, team first me second mentality, along with some promise of youth is what got me past the fact that despite beating expectations we are still staring down a road of desperation. I don’t see LeBron taking this team past the first round and I fear that his presence will break up that team unity.

He was one of my targets. Good signing.

Trade idea: Ryan Dunn for Nolan Traore or Ben Saraf.

Zach Collins $8M/year (Edit: spotrac had it wrong at first)
Rob Williams $14.5M/year
Jock Landale $14M
Walker Kessler is going to get $30M+/year it seems

A lot of the Center contracts being signed are continuing to make the Mark Williams deal look amazing for the Suns.

Absolutely I'll take Williams any day over these bums. I pray Kessler gets 30 from the lakers

Dean Wade would have been nice. But I dunno about that price. The $/yr aren't horrible but that's a lot of years for a guy with pretty marginal numbers.

Those are both solid additions for the Lakers.
NBA Draft 2026: Quadir Copeland. Nick Martinelli. Trey Kaufman-Renn. Graham Ike.

They can add as many solid additions as they want. They will be booty as long as they are paying Reavea the max. I'm praying they sign Kessler to a fat bloated contract too
