Suns legend Josh Okogie signs with the Jazz.

Good for Okogie. Glad he's finding a way to stick in the league. He could make a difference for a lot of teams.

Whoa. Big upgrade for Philly.

Great upgrade for Philly.
The only thing that gives me pause from a 76er perspective is that Jaylen Brown wasn't happy sharing the spotlight with Tatum. Is he going to be happy competing for shots and ball control with Maxey, Edgecombe, and Embiid?! And on top of that, their rotation is rounded out with Kelly Oubre and Anfernee Simons, two score-first role players?
I was unaware of Brown's personality which seems to be very off-putting. Always thinking he's the smartest person in the room (maybe he is but have some humbleness, dude). Thinks he's above everybody. Sounds unbearable.
Seems like a lot of nerds who are really smart but forget to put some points on social skills in their caracter sheets.

I'm a fan of his. One of the few to bring it every game during the malaise years.

Hard to believe that Okogie is only 27. Feels like he's been around forever.

A bit shocked that it came from Kyle Kuzma but he's not exactly wrong.

Resigning your own guys shouldn't count against the cap. They should separate the two pools of money

Jalen Green counts as a 1st, right? Can we interest them in Jalen Green and 2 1sts?

That's crazy. The kid is a legit two-way player but he's not really a shot creator, more a shot maker. He can shoot tho. Kid made 12 3's in a game last year. I just don't get why you'd want to trade him if he's all that. Unless you don't wanna pay him and would rather keep Zion.

Murphy is the perfect kind of player to pair with Booker. Spacer, defender, good size, would trade green and then some.

One of the last big free agents has signed: Rui Hachimura to the Clippers.

Wow. DeMar DeRozan has been waived. Pretty wild to see such a productive scorer waived for basically cost-cutting reasons with no teams interested in trading for him. A good reminder that high-usage low-efficiency scorers are not valued highly in today's NBA.
