The Suns start out on the road at Portland on Wednesday, October 21. Home opener is Saturday, October 24th against the Warriors. Then the dreaded Thunder on the road. What stands out to you?

Good chance to start out the season strong with that early 7 game home stand although we play OKC and the Spurs early.

My very quick reactions: The start of the season looks tough. It would not surprise me if we were something atrocious like 2-8 after our first 10 games. Not trying to be a pessimist but there are several good opponents in there. But games 11-20 look generally much more winnable, so maybe we can recover and improve our record by the 20-game mark. Or a positive way of looking at it is, if we can emerge at around .500 after 10 games, we're in good shape to rise above that mark over the next 10.

Suns first preseason game. Second row right behind the middle of the Suns bench. I checked a day or two ago and they weren't on sale. I got an email a few minutes ago from Ticketmaster that they were on sale now. I went right away and most close by the bench were already gone but there was this single one still available.
