That would be an amazing draft.

Nice job cleaning up some of the names, ("Darius" Exum was pretty bad ;) ), but you're still missing the mark on a few. As far as your rankings go, I think they're pretty solid.

The mocks there & at NBADraft.net like to make my damn blood boil.

No. More. Guards. Archie got the squeeze-out thanks in part to having 4 other guards. Unless Green is on his way out (Ish likely is, IMO), we need to concentrate on the frontcourt.
If the bigs available aren't that good. I wish the draft was filled with frontcourt players that would fall to the Suns and be better than what they have right now. Unless the Suns jump in the lottery, this is a pretty good scenario, because these are very good players with fantastic skill sets that translate to the NBA. I get it, we need help in the front court. I agree. If the Suns draft just based on need, they are going to make a bad decision. I think they will address the front court needs through trades, free agency and player development of their own players. I would hate to see them reach for a player just because they need help on the front court.
If we're selecting for another team, I've got no problem at all drafting BPA - but if we're keeping the picks, I'd rather use them on the frontcourt, where we're a lot more shaky.

I don't mind drafting a guard or 2 as long as they are shooters. We have slashers, we need knock down shooters to compliment them. Stauskus would be a real gem, I like Hairston late in the 1st as well.
Love, Hurts.

I know right. I've been calling him Darius all year for some reason. He just seems like a Darius.

It'd be great to get frontcourt players, But we're not in the stage where we draft for need quite yet besides maybe Point Guard if the plan is to retain Bled.

I wouldn't pass on Gary Harris or Stauskas just because we have Gerald Green and Goodwin.

Kyle Anderson is probably my preferred realistic choice at 14, although I still think there may be a chance Harris makes it to us. Not a good one, but it wouldn't be a total shock.

Kyle Anderson. He is good, talented prospect who can be a special player for the right team but not for us, imho.

I want our (future) small forward to be a good defender so I`d rather pick KJ McDaniels with the Wizz or Indy pick.

I really like Kyle Anderson and he'd be another guy we could get to bring the ball up and let Dragic and/or Bledsoe play off of.

We need to know or have some idea what we're going to get in Len. I still have hope for him. I love Plums and what he brings, but is he a starter? We're still lacking at the PF spot IMO. We could extend Frye, maybe not. The Morris brothers? Still not sure about them. Would love to see that gamechanger, athlete at the 4 spot. Not sure how we can get him...

French forward Damien Inglis told Yahoo Sports he is entering this year's NBA draft.

Inglis, 18, started for the World Team against the United States Junior National Team during the recent Hoop Summit in Portland, Ore. He averaged 4.7 points and 3.5 rebounds in 15 minutes while shooting 38.7 percent from 3-point range through 26 games this season for Chorale de Roanne Basket. At 6-foot-8½, 240 pounds, he has a 7-3 wingspan and a 8-11½ standing reach that combines to give him intriguing size and length as a defender. Several NBA scouts have told Yahoo Sports they are most attracted by Inglis' defensive ability.

13. Nik Stauskas
14. Zach LaVine
Odds of winning lottery: 0.5 percent

Analysis: LaVine is a swing-for-the-fences pick. He has the chance to be a home run down the road. He's blessed with both elite athleticism and an awesome jump shot. His body and decision-making skills aren't ready for the NBA yet, but he has tremendous upside for a player drafted this late.

17. Clint Capela
18. Cleanthony Early
(pick via Washington Wizards)

Analysis: If the Suns swing for the fences with their first pick, I could see them playing it safe with their second pick. Early is the second-oldest player in our mock, but his play at Wichita State this year opened eyes. He's a prototypical NBA small forward with size, athleticism and the ability to shoot the ball and could be a terrific backup for Gerald Green.

26. Kyle Anderson
27. Mario Hezonja
(pick via Indiana Pacers)

Analysis: It's unclear whether Hezonja will even be in the draft. He's a terrific prospect who is sliding because he just doesn't get significant minutes right now in Europe. If he stays in the draft, someone will try to steal him in the first round. And with three first-round picks, the Suns are in prime position to do it.

Wow - why is it so easy to disqualify these mockers?

I don't think Early is a fluid, natural SF but more of a smaller, versatile Channing Frye type who can do a bit more offensively. A Shawne Williams type 3/4 but he's not a perimeter player who can handle and make plays off the dribble like a natural swingman.

Shoot, I was talking about the (lack of) roster knowledge.

1.) Green was a fill-in starter when Bledsoe was down - he's a back-up.
2.) Green's a 2, not a 3 - put him at 3 and he bogs down.

Now, if Marcus Morris is gone, Kyle Anderson is the perfect candidate to slide right in, IMO (my first choice would be Aaron Gordon, but I'm a fan of Anderson and he's a razor-close #2 for me).

Still lots to get sorted out with this roster.....

That's exactly what I was thinking too.

I think Green is a natural SF, not sure why you think he 'bogs down.'
Go Suns!

I don't really see any Channing Frye when I watch Early. :?

Agreed
ShelC, could you explain how he's similar to Frye?
