I don't know whatever happened to the alleged homeless guy incident. If it's true then you don't want a player that would do that on your team. Outside of that he seems to me to be the kind of player you're talking about. He is an in the paint hustle & rebound player. I don't think of him as a 3-point shooter as he only shoots about 1 a game.OE32 wrote:Not interested. Don't think we can suffer another asshole on the squad, and I don't think he has the defense and rebounding I described above. Kind of a mix of Markieff and Marcus, really = Markieff + 3 point shooting. He'd be an okay target if it weren't for the character deficiency (both his and ours).

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
Obviously a bummer for me as I really wanted Kaminsky, but I'm happy that people are catching on.
He's such a good offensive player, I think people subconsciously downgrade him because he played four years in college, he's white and he looks a little goofy. He's a million times better right now than a guy like Turner.
*Looks like my tweet didn't embed quite right, but Chad Ford saying Kaminisky is moving up boards, new range is 4-9, won't fall past that.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
So with my man-crush not going to be there.
How would you guys rate the following?
WCS, Turner, Booker, Portis, Dekker, Oubre, Lyles?
I'd go
WCS>Dekker>Booker>Portis>Lyles>Turner

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
I'd be interested in Jones. Esp if its a pure salary dump by houston and he comes along with 18.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
I don't see wcs ever being able to play with Len. We'd be tough to score on, but we'd have just as tough a time scoring ourselves
Re: 2015 NBA Draft
Sporting News is saying we're trying to engage the Hornets for the 9 pick to take Kaminsky, feeling he won't make it past the Heat or Pacers at 10 and 11.
Re: 2015 NBA Draft
Kaminsky was higher in my mock than any mock I'd seen to that point...
Simple rule, if a lot of teams are trying to trade up for a player, that player will go higher in the draft. I highly doubt he'll be available at 9.

Man, if we could somehow get outta this draft with Russell and Favors, oh the joy I'd feel.
Love, Hurts.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
A lot of buzz that LAL is going to take Russell with #2, I doubt Philly would take Okafor with Embid/Noel. Maybe Philly looks to trade down; no way are the NYK dealing #4 if Okafor slides to them.
Re: 2015 NBA Draft
This seems to be the best draft since the Lebron, Melo, Bosh and Wade draft.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
I think LA would be silly if they didn't take Russell IMHO.

Seriously? I'm thinking bottom half of the last 12 drafts.In2ition wrote:This seems to be the best draft since the Lebron, Melo, Bosh and Wade draft.

I'm serious, it's got a lot of talent, especially on top. I really wish the Suns would have done a better job sucking this year, but even so, I think they will find a very good player at #13.carey wrote:Seriously? Re: 2015 NBA Draft
There is a big drop off after Russel,Okafor,Towns,Mudiay,Winslow,Zinger IMO. The next tier can go anywhere from 6 to early 20's.In2ition wrote:This seems to be the best draft since the Lebron, Melo, Bosh and Wade draft.
I think this years draft has a few alpha's in it but the middle of the 1st has a lot to be desired. Ofcourse, that's where we are. I think last yr had more 1st rd talent in it.

Agreed. I may even take Russel #1. He's an alpha. I certainly would take him over Okafor.iLLmatic wrote:I think LA would be silly if they didn't take Russell IMHO.
