Meh, West is a solid vet but I don't even think he'd have interest in us. Besides, we'd still have to figure out what we're doing with Markieff. If we were to keep Markieff, I'd look to add a backup like Acy or Darrell Arthur.

I was thinking to trade Markieff anyway...don't think we can have him on the team after everything that happened. #foulgame

I will say this....

1) I like the fact that the suns went for it, you have to go big or go home. LaMarcus Aldridge would of changed everything for this franchise in terms of on the court and how other players viewed us.

2) I probably wouldn't of signed Tyson Chandler on his own. I get what they were trying to do and I really do like TC as a player, but he doesn't move the needle much with the group and he is older with mileage. I think they can probably move him though to a contender next off-season when the cap explodes.

He already dissed the rumors of him going to NY by saying "No way, I'm only looking for contenders".

Spurs might get West to is what I heard.

David West is not what we need right now....He's on the downside of his career and is looking for a Ring. Makes no sense from either party

Maybe Tyson Chandler would rather play for the clippers now. Can We come to a mutual agreement?

Amare' probably makes some sense - they're in need of a big guy who can score in the post. He can do that, and he'll have Chandler to clean up some of his defensive lapses. I don't know if there's any other FA power forwards other than Tristan Thompson who would move the needle much. Josh Smith? Andrea Bargnani? No thanks.

I'd still look at moving Markieff and possibly Tucker depending on the return.

Phoenix Suns @SunsAccess_NBA

hearing that the Suns might pursue David Lee (via trade) to give them PF depth & preserve cap space for next summer

I think we all know the story with Lee - versatile, good scorer and rebounder, bad defender.

I would probably have an interest if they could get him straight up for Tucker. (although they may not have the cap space for that)

I'm still very glad to have Chandler. The very best thing about him will be in the locker room. He will also show the team what real rebounding looks like on the court.

David Lee makes a lot of sense for a 1 year rent.

Lee wouldn't be bad. We'd need an asset coming back to take that salary. Tucker for Lee and Looney? Trade Markieff for a wing

They'd have a hard time fitting Lee's $15 million salary in under the cap, Amare' might be a better option financially.

Well, we're probably going to lose more than we win this season and have another late lotto pick. I hope that excites you.
